Feck it, they're gone.. gonna try and keep them alive anyways.
Kay now I seriously prolonged my vegging time with the manipulations the past days.. but well should be a different result, now I gotta wait until I got a bunch of little plants and then send them.

It's gonna be even hotter today so I'm just engaging the Sanlight, less heat, bit less electricity used.
All the buds are getting between 600-800ppfd.
More is going to be difficult cause the temp in the canopy goes up too high.
And I was getting a bit of heat stress so back it off.

I'm giving lots of wind now with the fan on heavy as I want to harden up those stems and have them set so i can remove the screen.
And well I'm of course kinda kicking myself as well I ended up scrogging like this but I should have topped it out for that from the beginning so I got all pure tops instead of whatever the heck this morphology is.
But she's getting somewhere.

I already see another branch I wanna cut.. sigh.. I also really would like to be able to let her veg a week unperturbed.

And I just thought of moving the lamp a bit so the left side gets a bit less energy and the right side more as that one has less developed branches.
Off to the tent!

She's released and back under the two lights as it's a cool week this week.
She bunched up a bit as the weight of the screen is gone.

Well she seems happy this morning.
Hmm that row of smaller buds, I got the Mars strip parked right above them so they receive the most above 800ppfd,
And the Sanlight is giving the left side between 6-700pffd at 76watts.
But yeah they aren't going to catch up.. I was thinking maybe taping printing paper together with a cutout only for that row of buds and letting her grow like that a couple of days, could work
Although I'm just gonna let her grow, clean up once more, recover again and then flower. maybe cut off some of them as well I haven't lost much branches I cut off as all the clones are still alive.

I think I'm gonna flip them tonight, well tomorrow make the light come on in the evening, so when it gets hotter it's off during day time.
I cut 3 more branches yesterday and some fans. but I fear now if I wait too long it's going to get incredibly messy as all the bottom branches of the top buds are starting to get long, so if I keep this up with 3 weeks of stretch they are going to fan out
And she stretches quite a bit, she's no Sativa but she ain't no Indica either and outside she is a 10 footer.
She's down as I just watered, should be up in a couple hours.

Oh is there an extra trick I can do to switch for maximum result?
As I keep reading two schools of thought on here and on the tube as well, those that say cut back the flux after switch and build up again and those that say increase power after flip.
my MO was more well keep it the same, if you cut back 6 hours DLI goes down a lot anyways, so more power or lower the lights until you're back at the level of the 18hrs DLI at 12 hrs. And then during week 4-5-6 you give it all it can take.

Houston we have a problem.
I mean the lift off is going great... but I fear this is way too much there's over 25 buds on her.. they are all balancing on the main, and I can already feel the weight on it with just the branches and leaves now.
The buds look like they are going to get pretty long and pretty big... I think I'm going to put a block of styrofoam under the branch so the weight can rest on that if it starts to push down.
And in a few days there's no light and air going through that bush as well that's already kinda the case and it's only going to get much much worse.

Then there's the bottom branches of the buds.. which I can already see reaching to get through the canopy.
This is going to be such a mess.. I kinda want to see if she can do it.. just let it grow like it wants now and just have the fan on full to blast air through the canopy.
On the other hand I feel like it's best to cut away probably around 50 to a 100 branches.. as each bud has like 2 to 4 branches that are wandering and stretching like crazy. Cut it all away now so she doesn't put energy in them for the next weeks?

I feed 300 ppm potassium silicate once a week so small branches can still hold up buds.
I'd give her and extra support needed and keep on trucking.
Pour the light and nutes to her.
Keep the air circulation up and rh low.
Beautiful lady my friend.

I'd give her and extra support needed and keep on trucking.
Pour the light and nutes to her.
Keep the air circulation up and rh low.

See I kinda want to but isn't a second lollipopping going to be much more fruitful?
As I'm only in second day of stretch.. what's gonna happen with all these branches? be a hundred long spindly things growing through other buds in two weeks.
I think they can only become super long get intertwined and take away from the main event? I want the top part of that bud to stack and grow big.
Of course on the other a hand I'd be cutting away a jar full of nugs.

Anything getting light stays though.

And well I'm in day two of stretch.. there's no pre-flowers yet.

I love big plants.
I built a 10 foot high grow room because I lack control.
Did you see the greenhouse?
Only 4 girls and it's almost full.
By Halloween it might be a nightmare, hehe.

I fed rhizo/calmag and already some Biocanna flower feed, and there should still be some N in the pellets.
I rotated the plant and raised the lights a bit as on the left some leaves look like they are getting heat stressed.
I was feeding pretty high as I crept up to +-1000ppfd, but safer is probably around 900.
And there's no flowers yet but she reeks already very strong, just touching a leaf is pungent.

Not having much luck with the clones in water though, they are still alive but there's no roots showing up.. I'm hoping for the ones in soil as they seem to be active.

Although I'm thinking about planting the seeds from India, If I put a couple of them in the greenhouse and let them flip in the daylight I can hopefully pick out a couple females and put them in the tent.

Trying to root clones in straight up water always took way too long for me and by the time they did root the plant looked very much the worse for wear. Perlite is my go-to.

Although I'm thinking about planting the seeds from India, If I put a couple of them in the greenhouse and let them flip in the daylight I can hopefully pick out a couple females and put them in the tent.

Several of us have had success with The Rev's hack of putting the seedlings under 12/12 lighting for the first 10 days or so above ground and then reverting to 18/6 or what ever you veg under. Sex is consistently revealed in about 30 days and without the reveg issue you'd have by taking clones to determine it.
