Sipping Super Sativa Seed Club Strawberry Cookies In Sanlight

Yeah but they still say first dip rooting gel and then myco powder, so I guess it's more of a cloning powder aid.
Although I'm sure it will help like this, isn't all the plant material pretty morphable? like stem cells it can be triggered to become this or that or such..
Yes, but that's my point, those triggers are hormonal. Microbes won't do much until the roots have established. It's an internal to the plant thing rather than an external factor.

How is it an internal to the plant thing when something like that air pruning works? pap some dirt around a stem and wrap it in plastic and roots will form so those are external triggers?

But looks like it's an auxin they use to stimulate root growth from a cutting IBA and root associated microbes can produce low amounts of this what they naturally do in soil as well.. so I was just trying to figure out if any of the ones in the GW present are doing this.

Ah but that's probably why the air pruning works cause soil contains root stimulating hormones which get in touch with the stem and that says hold on I can get into that its morphin' time.

The cuttings are looking better than yesterday they didn't droop kinda the opposite some managed to get their leaves more straight so I'm thinking these will catch on in no time.

When you cut off a limb or wound the stem (like in your air layering example) it triggers a survival response in the plant, and the plant sends repair hormones to the site. So it's an internal thing, nothing to do with the microbes in the soil. I root cuttings in straight perlite without anything else but plain tap water.

aha okay, but wait like if I just cut or shave the stem roots don't just start growing there, for the air pruning you need to pack it with dirt, so there has to be another trigger that tells it to root instead of repair no? if not soil related, absence of light, air? Presence of water?

They're all up, even bottom right is on the way up.
I should probably mark them before I forget or don't recognise the difference anymore.

Roots don't like light and need both air and moisture otherwise they start but shrivel and die back. So the medium needs to be kept moist.

So, for air layering you would hold the medium against the stem to both block light and hold the moisture which you supply by misting it well and wrapping with plastic wrap or something similar.

Oh I asked Dutch Passion for what genetics of theirs is pre 2008 as I feel that's kinda when it started with all those candyshop strains and quests for higher THC to advertise, like cookies & gelatos etc.
And I asked for strains that weren't too sweet and contained complex flavours maybe even with less pleasant notes present.
They returned this list.

- Passion #1
- Purple #1
- Shaman
- Frisian Dew
- Pamir Gold
- Snow Bud
- Durban Poison
- Euforia
- Skunk #1/#11 (reg/fem)
- White Widow
- Power Plant
- Amsterdam Amnesia (2024 update)
- Mazar
- Master Kush
- Orange Bud (fruity)
- Blueberry (bit sweeter)
- Cheese (2024)
- Think Fast

I know some and I sure want to sample some more of these, and not give a crap about what the THC counter says for some of them, as that is sometimes pretty low, but that doesn't mean I won't give me a ride.

Second net deployed, they just need to make smaller scrog nets.. I once bought one for a 3x3' they sent me a high quality thick rope net with 9 holes... what do you want me to do with that? I can fit my whole plant through one.
Now we're getting level though, bit more vegging, bit of snip snip, bit more vegging and then it's go time.

Clones are growing branches where I cut off the leaves and buds.. and the stems also thickened, so I'm guessing these are good.

Thanks Bill! Yeah this grow is flying it's crazy.
Everything is behaving exemplary, except maybe the cookies, she started great but she's keeping it a bit too tight and short, huh, never thought I'd complain about that as well that's kinda the structure I usually want.. It's just that the punch is positioning herself so well automatically.
I think that Royalmix stuff with the worm castings & bat guano is fantastic
And well the Great White is my new favourite as well, dunno I think you recommended it a long time ago, maybe Azi, maybe even Resdog, ah auw, is he getting any better? ..
It's expensive but f it I'm not going to use it sparingly and next year I'm gonna boost up everyones garden plants before they go in the ground.
I'm constantly replenishing the reservoir as these roots are sipping beyond their normal capacity, I'm thinking if it's like this now I'll have to fill it daily during flower.

I need something where I can hibernate clones! have them healthy but evolve as slow as possible.
And something to veg them.. so I can prep two to fire off after the current ones are ready.
For 2025 we're going to be more productive and efficient ! :D heck even late 2024 still
Good thing it ain't 2525.. if man is still alive..

Unfortunately I have no news on @ReservoirDog :Namaste:
I’ll try him again.

Starting all over again with the cookies. tomorrow I do the other one so the cats can eat some leaves tomorrow too.
I need to grow a freestanding cannabisplant in the room under a 50w light or so, just so she can remain vegging so the cats can nibble leaves when they want.

I'm hoping I don't have to cut anymore, just let them veg in height and then flip them.
