Seedsman Comparo Purple Ghost Candy By Schnookie

Except for a few lower yellows, they're all looking really lush! And PGC3 really has that sativa look to those branches...hope mine doesn't do that or it will be tough to get through the door. :nervous-guy:
I think they stretched like that cause they didn't get enough light when I brought them outside. Then I also didn't realize they already started flowering when I topped them.

Looks like we got a little sunburned on a coupla leaves (would this happen if there was water on the leaves in full sun?). Took a measure of lux with my phone earlier (a little overcast) and got over 70k. Just used the meter and at the end of the day now I'm still getting over 55k in direct light, which only a little bit of the plants are getting right now. Guessing at full mid-day we're way over 100k so...

The 10 gallon and 1 gallon don't seem affected

I've been noticing some white specks on the leaves though, so need to do some investigating. Could be PM

Bottom of the photo is the stowaway from the Red Pure CBD and Tropicanna Poison grow. Dunno what she is but she's flowering vigorously! She has PM I'm pretty sure though so will be going through a regimen. I'll reread @InTheShed 's posts to find the most effective...

The may get some reflection from the door?
That might have done it with the sun hitting spots not used to it.

Got a pic of the PM? If that's what it is I've been testing a 0.3% canola oil spray. It's just 3ml canola oil in 1L distilled water with 3 drops of Dr Bronner's unscented castile soap. Blend (in an actual blender) for a minute and spray in the shade or very early/late.

It's been working well on my test plant but I haven't tried on anything with pistils yet. That's later this summer, but you can test it out on a few bud and leaves if you want to be the guinea pig!

Well these are looking strange. They started flowering early and now these look like re-veg leaves to me. The one in the big pot has the biggest buds, and down the line. I am gonna up pot the 1 gallons to 5 tonight as they are looking pretty stalled at the moment. The two in coco 5 gallons are not as vigorous as the 10 gallon, so I'll use the rest of the Roots707 soil for the up pot.

And this little "stinker" showed up and I cautiously sidled past to avoid any unwanted encounter.

Ok, these girls are all doing their own thing. Some are full on flower, some _back_ into flower from re-veg and others are sorta waffling (the not PGC plants anyway).

Here's a capture from just now:

BBCBD cross in 5 gallon pot

Unknown variety in SIP. She's a weird one. Old as the hills now too...and sticky all over. I'm starting to smell them on the upstairs deck some days...like 30+ feet away!

These are from a couple hours ago. We just got a huge rain storm and they soaked it all up like sponges. 3 PGC still going strong happily paired with my Bruce Banner CBD cross. I don't know if these are F1s with Cement Shoes or CSxCS ... what's what called? Male and female same variety breed from spare separate plants(seeds)?

2 on the right PGC, 10g, 5g

I'll get some bud closeups in the morning.

This is how Justin describes all the names:
F1 is the first generation of a cross, both unrelated parents. Likely to get phenos resembling either.
F2 is taking 2 seeds from the same F1 and crossing them. So basically breeding sisters together (requires silver/sex reversal of course) phenos become a lot more stable, especially if they were already similar.

S1’s are seeds taken by using a silver sex reversed plant to pollinate itself. This is a popular and fairly easy way to get phenos closely resembling the mother.

BX1 means that the plant was back-crossed with its original mother, usually after being crossed with something else.
For an example- the Wookiees x Wizard is a BX1 because I used wizard pollen to fertilize seeds of a Wookiee, and wizard is already bred from a Wookiees mother originally.
Wookiees itself was technically a BX1 because its Wedding Cake (which is GSC x cherry pie) x GSC. But I have bred those together making a much more stable F2/S2, which you have as well.

Wookiees f2 is the most stable. I rarely get a Wookiees that grows normal leaves…most go 1, 3, 5 point then go back to growing all 3 pointed leaves. Queen g has grabbed onto that pheno a bit and seems to make 3s and 4s strange enough.

So yes it’s basically just taking my favorites of the autos I’ve grown in the last few years and trying to isolate features…mostly taste driven hunts for this smoker…
So yours sounds like F2 if I'm reading it correctly.

I still have to get these all into the "garden" full time. They get full sun here for 5 hours until almost 2pm and then is out of direct for 2 hours then full again another 1 or 2 in the afternoon. The garden gets full sun 9-6.

This is BBCBD X stillll stretching

10 gallon PGC still slow bud growth, probably due to that lack of direct sun mid day.

This bud is the largest at around 2 fingers

PGC in 5 gallon wants more sun too. This one was kept on the upper stairs longer and missed another hour of sun each day
20240716_113850.jpg

And the unknown really gets about 5 or less total direct sun each day if I remember to move it back and forth when the sun switches sides of the house and thus the reason for the mediocre strange buds I think. I might bring her back into the tent...or figure out how to carry it down the stairs to the garden too. It's HEAVY! Guess I can let her use up some water first...

I'd definitely get those out into the garden for a full day's sun! As long as the animals don't eat them they'll be happier out there.
Yeah...that's the issue. Deer ate tomatoes. That's supposed to be poisonous to them. Slowlly working on building a "cage" around the garden since it's gonna take me months to finish the border fence.

You can see the progress. Less on the other side. That slope is killer. I started 7 months ago LOL.
