420 Magazine Comparative Grow With Seedsman Seeds And Jungle Joe

High there 😎

We're not out of the woods yet, but she's on the mend. I'm trying this new (to me) Aptus nutrients range, looks good.
Using 1 ml per gallon of fasilitor (silica stuff) and bloomboost (organic stuff) respectively, they say double the former in the first week or two of flower to help stop stretching, and we know how stretchy these girls are 😂 She seems to be happy with it. Next few weeks are crucial now. It's make or break.
Lights are 2 outside bar LEDs (140w each) at 50% power each, and the Viparspectra XS 1500 Pro in the middle at 50% also. I'll turn them up if it looks like she can handle it, but I'll do it slowly.
Here's pics...

So I've been trying out different camera settings to get the closest I can to the true colour of the plant. I didn't realise how much the led's affect the way the camera sees the colour of the plant.
This is pretty close to what I see with my own eyes...

Heee brew

I can see the same faults in the plant I recently left for a week. While like yours the leaves are perfect in shape, the colour makes me go hmmmm. I swear it is light. Plants don’t like strong light in veg. Well I don’t think they do. I think for you with the added too much light with the nute imbalance has made your girl unhappy.

Like you I don’t just grow to grow. I grow to make my plants sing. She is beautiful no doubt. But she also taught you real grow lessons.

She’s a well trained plant that will give you a bounty of green.

I'm pretty sure the soil is depleted after a couple of grows in the same pot. The top dressing I've been trying hasn't worked like I thought it would. I feel like this new Aptus stuff is really helping.
Every grow I learn something new... let's hope it sinks in

High again :ciao:

I ended up getting food poisoning. I ate leftover pork roast that wasn't refrigerated... dumbass.
Suffice to say I've been punished severely by those little bacterial bastards. Think Deli belly times a thousand, and you get the idea. Not good at all.
The moral of the story is, microwave your leftover pork till it's damn near on fire, and then chuck it out!

Anyway, enough of the waterworks and back to the shitshow...

Still looking a bit worse for wear in the tent. Pretty sure she's suffering from magnesium deficiency now. I haven't done anything for more than a week since I was crook, so because I felt better I decided to get some cal-mag, and while I'm there obviously I'm going to need some other stuff too :cheesygrinsmiley:
To make a long story longer, I've decided I don't want to spend my thousands (literally) at the local hydro shop any more. They ripped me off and I won't put up with that shit. I complained about them to the manufacturer I had trouble with at the store, and he had them up about it, and gave me the replacement stuff himself. Damn fine service from Mike at Aptus.
So I drove a five hour round trip today, to the closest hydro store, to buy the entire line up of bottles... etc.
I mixed 6 litres of rain water, with the full Aptus nutrients range, mixed in the correct order, according to the feeding schedule. I'm hoping to see her colour improve in the next few days.
In the meantime we're still growing buds...

I don't know why they look like that. I've had grows like this and sometime in flower they made the coolest fall colors!
In New Zealand we call them 'Autumn colours', we even spell it differently down here. They look beautiful when they're meant to look that way.

I want every time I grow to be the best possible grow I can. Especially since it's so damn hard to get decent seeds.

Glad your feeling better, ain't nothing compared to food poisoning! Feel like your dying while dying from both ends. Yeah no thank you.
Sounds like you know from experience, I must've lost a couple hundred litres (well that's what it felt like anyway)
