SIP - Pity Do Dah, SIP - Pity A

This is my "Aurora Indica" that was in my shed. She's good and frosty. I'm currently harvesting this one. She's about 75% chopped right now. Just needed a break from trim jail to post & smoke.... lol.

Those are damn fine looking plants!!! :bravo:
The Aurora almost looks like it is on one plane or is that just the way it was harvested?? I did one plant Espalier style this year and the others quad + 2 (six) and I think next year I'll just go quad and espalier. I kinda liked the simplicity of espalier.

Here is my GG Auto. She's 3 weeks old now & drinking from the res. I did Top & remove the bottom 2 nodes on this one. She's being LST'd now. Hope she takes off soon.
The other GG Auto in Coco was a total bust. Hell, every seed I tried to start in Coco was a bust. Waste of time & money.

I've decided not to waste any more time on Coco or Auto's for now. I'll grow out the GG in my 2x4 tent & then start a new grow in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure what that grow will be just yet. I'm talking with a sponsor about doing a grow for them. If they supply the light I would want I'll be doing a single plant in a 4x4 tent in a large SIP Tub that I make. I'll veg that somewhere between 8-12 weeks before I flip to flower. These SIPs got me wondering if a 2-lb. plant is possible indoors.... lol.

These girls are a joke on me. Godzilla cookies is more of a Cookie Crumb. Banana Purple Punch isn't doing crapola either. Both of these are 2 weeks old.

Not sure about this Do-Si-Dos yet. She's just about a week old (5 days) so we'll see. But she looks pretty small to me.

The Skywalker OG sprouted. Then shriveled up & died. Could it be the seeds are too old ? I've had some of these well over a year. Some are as much as 4 years old. I haven't had this much trouble starting a seed since my first couple of grows.

This is what's currently in my 2x4. I'll be tossing the 2 in Solo Cups today as they are a waste of time. I'll give Dosi a week or so to see what she does.

Well all, nice visiting with you but it's time to return to my Trim Jail Cell. See ya next time !

Probably the way it was harvested. I remove my Fan Leaves while the plant is still in the pot. I find it much easier to do that way. Then in the closet for 24-36 hours of darkness. Then the final chop & hang to dry.

Hi greenjeans. What is Espalier please?

I see what you mean. On the other hand that harvest looks fab. You appear to be the definition of equanimity atm Buds. Big ups.

:sorry:Sorry to butt in. :: checking for toilet paper on my shoe because I ran in so fast:: This is TOTALLY off topic but I have been looking for a member:ganjamon: here named Equanimity, last seen 8 years ago. :passitleft:Yawl probably said the word Equanimity in a random way, but I believe in serendipity, hope and coincidencs. Carmen Ray, could you possibly know my long lost friend?

Aw I am sorry that it wasn't about your friend. I hope you manage to find them :)

What is Espalier please?
They do it with apple trees and such. It is just two branches, straight out, each way and then shoots off that just go straight up. I don't know if you would get as much yeild as from quad but it sure is tidy!!

Right, and often done flat on one plane against a garden wall, for example.

Hey all, I'm starting to plan my next SIP journal now. I was reading @ReservoirDog journal & the Tubs he's using are pretty similar to what I have in mind. My original plan was to put up the 4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent I just bought & divide it in 1/2 with an Emergency Blanket. But after thinking more about it, I decided that wont work. I want to Veg the one I do in the large tote a lot longer; than the ones I do in 5 gal. SIP's. So, I ordered 2 - 4x4 tents for the grow instead. Looking to do an 8-12 week veg in the big tub & create Godzilla.... lol. This is more or less just for kicks & to see if I can do it & what kind of yields it produces. Hope it all goes well; but who knows ?
In the other 4x4 I'm thinking about doing 4-5 plants in 3 gal. Geo Pots. Not that I don't want to do SIP's. But because I want to grow 4-5 different strains so I'll have a variety. Yes, I could make smaller SIP's; but don't want to go through the trouble & then have to find a place to store them after the grow. I have too much grow stuff that I've accumulated over the past 5-6 years. Probably plenty I'll never even use again. But, now I have 2 - 4x8 tents I have to store till I use them again.
Anyway, I think this might be a pretty good journal if my plans go well. Then again..... It could be a disaster. One just never knows.... lol.
I'm still in the planning & set up stages; so I'll be sure to let you all know once I'm rollin' with it. Maybe even start next week ? Depends when the tents show up. Just ordered last night.

These SIP's really work.

I am running out of height in my flower space (closet). Already 18 inches to light with 5 weeks before topping and another 2 weeks for the final trim. Need to box what's on top of the shelf and raise the lights.

Still needed more PM spray, it is almost all gone.

All in all, looking good but were neglected during harvest. Yellow leaves fall off easily.

Cheers~!

I'm getting a couple of buckets ready now - if I don't get too sidetracked by building a dry sift gizmo to use in my trommel - I won't need it till the weather goes much lower - but I'm hoping to start fiddling around with STS and try feminized seed - so - better get the SIPs ready!!
