SIP - Pity Do Dah, SIP - Pity A

Forgive me if I don't update for a while. My wife is no longer conscious & Hospice gave her less than 48 hours to live.
I'm sorry, but I'm completely shattered right now. See you as soon as possible.
I hope you can find some peace during this time. God be with her

I'm sorry Buds. I hope she's surrounded by all the people she loves most.
Yes, she is! My house has been full of friends & family for the past 2 days. She's still hanging on by a thread. Barely breathing. Watching & waiting is pure hell. It rips your heart out to see a loved one suffer so much. I think I'm close to being all cried out. I prayed for God to take her quickly this morning so she doesn't suffer any longer. I think it will happen today. I'm definitely going to miss her very, very much. I am thankful for the 22 years we had together though & will cherish those memories forever. God Bless & God rest her soul in peace. Amen.
I love you baby ! You have a place in my heart forever !!!

Thank you Bill. It's a rough time, but I'll get through it.

I got the KS5000 yesterday. That grow is planned to start on New Years Day, although I'll probably do some set up stuff for the grow in my journal prior to New Years. Hope to see you there when I get started.

The Charcoal Filter helps a lot, but I'm sure the moisture from the Humidity ruins the filter faster. Good thing they don't cost a lot to replace as I replace mine about once per year. I use the old ones for intake air at the bottom of my tent. The general rule of thumb is to try to keep your humidity between 60% - 70% in Veg & 30% - 40% during flower. Depending on the type of lighting you use the tent temps will vary some. HPS lights put out a lot of heat & more of a Red Spectrum so you are trying to stay around 77F in Veg & 68F during Flower. 68F will bring out any colors the plant has, increase Trichome & Terpene production. It isn't necessary to be at 68F, but it does help. I am currently flowering at 78F with no issues. With LED Lights you can run your tent temps higher. I keep my tent anywhere between 78 - 84F since I use LED's. If you want to be precise...., on the money you can get a laser thermometer & point it at one of the top leaves on the plant to get a precision canopy temp in your tent. Leaf temp is the most accurate way to set your temps that I'm aware of. Or, you can buy Inkbird Controllers for Humidity & Temps & let them control your environment for you. Hope this helps you some.
Sorry about this off topic boomer newbie procedural thing. I read your heat/humidity rule of thumb reply a week ago. I think I even gave it a thumbs up. Now I am pretty sure I have quoted your Buds Bunny pearly words of wisdom (thanks again, love rules of thumbs) but I will be DARNED if I can figure out how to save this somewhere that I can find it easily. As in, can't I highlight the words of wisdom then paste it on my own Throwing In The Towel thread? Like, I threw in the growing towel, but still want to learn and pass on the pearly wisdom bits...😖🧓

You should be able to highlight, copy & paste if you are on a computer. I do it all the time. Not sure if it's possible on a phone.

You can also mark the post with a bookmark. At the top right of the post there is a bookmark icon. Click on it and you will be able to give it a descriptive name.

Then, from another post you want to reference it in, simply click your avatar at the top of the page, click "bookmarks" and a "filter by label" option will allow you to filter your various bookmarks by typing in a descriptive word or phrase.

Go to that post and highlight the relevant sentences and hit the "+Quote" button. That will stick your highlights in your device memory and then in the response part of the thread you want to insert the quote in, hit "Insert quotes" at the bottom of your reply and all of the quotes you have highlighted will show up. Delete any you don't want to add, hit "Quote Messages" and your highlights will be added to your reply.
