Purple Punch DWC

They went from not eating much to eating again, Myrina in particular. They look amazingly happy!
She will be going through some cruel and unusual punishment her last couple weeks of her flower cycle . You know me I told her it’s @InTheShed fault
And how exactly do you drought a plant in a bucket of water? Are you going to actually drain it and let the roots dry out?

Anyway, tell her to blame Maritimer, not me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

After reading that the best way would to cause a drought is put enough water and nutrients to cover just the air stone and make her work for it . Don’t give the full meal deal . I see y’all have left me behind I need to catch up ans see what’s going on . Actually was thinking a lot about this there has to be a way.

These girls are in great shape , they need a lollipop . First thing tomorrow morning.
Country said he saw a gnat plus he found my yellow sticky paper it’s everywhere.

Beautiful specimens! I worry about my roots drying out and dying in the ProMix HP, so I can't imagine what it would be like to have water roots with absolutely no water. No food is easy, that's just starvation. This would be dehydration!
I was thinking when there’s just enough to keep her alive . Remember the white widow mother daily she would completely empty the bucket maybe an inch of water and nutrients were left . At first with mama ww I would just add ro water back . When filled back up nutrients that evidently was in the roots gave me a ppm can’t remember how much . That rootball was pretty tight in the five gallon bucket. Like I say going to have to think this through. Otrera is getting pushed out on the far end is why I chose her .

These girls grew up , measuring 13” from the P4000 and I don’t see anything hurting. Since I gave them a lollipop and there still pointing to the light I’ll leave it another day help slow the stretch. They need more taken but I’ll wait till day 21 of flower . Otrera was getting covered up by Thalestris till I thinned them .

Country saw a gnat so ignore all the sticky paper , went buck wild .

So you noticed how close they can get with zero damage as well?

Plants are looking great, hopefully there's not too much in way of pests.
I think it was last bucket change I raised it to 24”s . I had to turn it off while I crawled around on the floor giving these girls a lollipop was blinding me and I couldn’t see what I was trimming with the shades on .
I don’t know when he put the sticky paper in but there’s nothing on all 10 of them . I usually put all four corners and one above the light just to see them coming . He’d walked across the field so I’m sure he brought it with him .

A few pics of these girls and roots of the two smaller girls. I don’t like these flimsy lids . Myrina kept trying to fold loosing the media so I didn’t get a pic of her roots.

Dry them first so they don't mold!

Also, can you explain why these plants are running in the 1100ppm range but the F&D plants are in the 700's in flower?
There in the freezer, dry later . Do you think it’s not good to do it this way?
They got a fresh bucket change yesterday, the flood and drain are due for a change tomorrow . You’ll see the tds start around the same 1100+ . Remember I just top off with ro water to be able to see the solids disappear, hasn’t failed me yet .

I would just put them in the sun to dry. They get even wetter in the freezer and also, don't the cells explode at those temps?
Thanks I’ll spread them out tomorrow’s sunshine . Good to know , I need to do like I did before, let them get crumbly then grind the stalks and mix them together and put the salve together without coming up with 7 pounds in the freezer again .
