Yah I "had" a budget and the 1000 is just a little over. But after researching and more researching and then even a little more. The perfect sun 1000 is the way to go with the mover. Now that the decision is made in my head, i need to be patient a few weeks to order it.. Let's hope i can serve it well...

I never tried agromover, but one of my light rails just went out after over 4 years of being on every day for 12 to 18 hours a day.

BTW, after the cost of a light mover, the Goliath is actually cheaper. I expect huge yields with it.

That goliath sure looks impressive... Damn does it.... Trying to cover that 2x8 though... Really 4x8 but i have lights already for one half. I don't mind the mover and etc... Once I decided to blow up the light budget because I want to try the Perfect sun Lights, I think the mover and 1000 should work most excellent. And your lights are not really expensive. Funny you say that....

I told my 11 year old son last night he is going to learn the fine art of bud trimming soon... I will put money in his savings for time worked ...lol

I guess it is time for his schooling in horticulture.

Once that is done the rest is actually ok... painting and etc. it is only going to be 8x11 but that should work nicely for 12 plants. I feel a tiny bit frustrated that right now i can be growing a lot more and I am not yet... Patience!

Another Harvest Among Other Things.

So time for an update and here is a pic of a decent NL#5 wet bud!

So that is still hanging and I ran it longer than the few I harvested early a couple weeks ago. The nuggets are definitely solid.

It still didn't grow to potential.

But see all my plants in flower are really doing well but recently I have been battling rez crap again. Bad right now. I can't even make it a week for it to run empty before it is fouled up again... Veg and flower are doing it... It's almost like now that my water is filtered of the chloramine the bad bacteria is thanking me...

So I will figure it out... I am switching out brands on nutes and etc. I have already started on some things. I am going to buy a small run of technaflora and run that. I am sort of stumped.... I max rez temp at 72 in flower 68 in veg. I thought my sugaree was bad but it doesn't get added to veg. I run ces nutes...but i believe i had it with GH a long time ago as well. I know i am using magical now and it happened before with another brand...
So i am currently thinking....
I run Hygrozyme,SOS and Orca. Orca and SOS both do about the same the more i have read about them. So I can technically ditch one of the two. For now i will ditch them both. for at least when i refill it tomorrow.

The Hygrozyme has had mixed reviews online. Some people say that it has slimed them. Swear it caused it for them. Well I suppose it is possible... But the way I look at it is the hygrozyme may not be strong enough to kill the current level of bacteria in my water right now. Thus it becomes food for the bad stuff and helps them along. So I could add more in on a regular basis to get it under control is one thought. But instead... I am ditching it completely.

I am going to try z7 from flying skull. Relatively new product but it is apparently a very strong enzyme. I have yet to read anything bad about it but it could be too new for that. I am going to stop on the Sos and Orca as well until I get this under control. I am getting mad that like 7 months later it keeps creeping up.

I need this taken care of... I am sure the next thing would help a lot. One thought is to move both Rez's into the outer room. Then they would be at 60 in the winter and 65 all summer... So before I buy a chiller this should be the answer. But then I have a lot of long feed tubes and need a big pump... Not sure...

I'd like to just figure out what it is and what to combat it with...

Anyway I should get on with the update.... Things are growing good still because every three to four days I redo both rez's.. looking forward to the water bill this month....

So in Veg

I have 12 strains going? and 2 new? something like that. So as I expected there definitely is another back log. I actually have an issue where some of these need to go in 5 gallon pots but this tub is full... well I will squeeze one in there soon I have to... but they are all doing pretty well in the 1 gallon pots. Some in the solo's are having issues's they need to be upotted... Soon ladies... Soon...



So over in flower...

Things have not slowed down at all... The Fruit Punch is reaching sooo hard for the lights. It's fans shoot straight up almost. Quite a unique plant. And there is a 4 week older clone next to it. Hope I like it.. 2 of those coming up....

First one of it....

and then these are the younger one...

So then we will have a look at the NL from seed... I had been out of practice on seeds so I killed off a few ;/
This one made it but it was really stunted a long time. Also the first week of flower it had no drink...lol So I didn't know what to expect but it is doing very very well now. It is in stretch and filling out nice.

So then on the other side of the room. This white widow just happen to be ready for flower before many others so in flower it went.... It has been popular among friends etc so that isn't a bad thing.

Then below the Sour Diesel. It is a clone from the last and it had an extended veg. I am expecting HUGE results...

So last is the BBHB. I have to say the last one was "ok" smoke.. really it has not had much of a cure... But... It had hermied and has some seeds... I am not so pleased with that. I will let this one run and hope I can get it a little cleaner run etc.. I have more clones but will wait to see the result on this one to decide if i flower another in the future. I need to step up my game on noticing that. The seed pods are deep in the buds. they look like normal pistil pods... Guess i need to read up on some of it... I know what nanners look like.... I haven't seen a one on the plant... anyway....


So that summarizes the update really.... but another topic i was going to get into....

I have been super busy on the expansion. The new flower room will be well possibly a mistake huge... but odd shaped... It is an L shape room with 6 plants on one side and 6 in the L. I believe it will be a surplus of room for each plant.. But i worry that running all LED's that it will be cold and i need to run heat? Only time will tell...A good portion of the room will be a utility side etc but it will add to the square feet so the lights will need to heat up quite an area. The walls are framed and the ceiling is all panda filmed. I need to get some sheetrock and hang the door... Then start moving stuff... Walls and floor are painted already... been busy...
So veg will actually go into the current flower room. that should give me twice the space.. 2 tables... so then I can run alot more in 5 gallon pots... But soon I will also need them as I will have to pick six.. yes six to go into flower when the new room is done... Next week I should be ordering the PS1000 and not long after the mover... So it is all coming together...

I'll get some pics of that soon... I have some but i will put a bunch of pics together at once...


So that about sums it up for now.....

I always figured that it would have hermie traits and only confirmed by the strobing of the light here a coupla months ago. i had to throw that BBHB out that I had. Meh, with twelve strains goin.......

That NL#5 has been a steady deal here. I have been harvesting them early. I kinda like that stone. but I have been giving up serious yield by doin this. I noticed yours has a whole diff color then what I have been turning out. Does yours have that citrus spicy smell ?

Just curious if because I have been growing at 72 degrees flower and night time has been as low as fifty, if that has had a big impact in color and smell. I also changed out hps for MH fro two weeks. Immediate diff in smell.

That Fruit Punch is something I am interested in buds. I love the vigorous growth and had some outdoor FP just a couple weeks ago and love love love the flavor.

I love your grow man but I just don't think I have the wherewithal to pull off one in the medium you use. I am not sure if it's the attraction of speedy growth, total control over the entire grow, or maybe more potent pot that you are drawn to, but I am also wondering this ?

Any ways man I see you are having issues but you somehow make it look good. Fine job man.

Thanks for all the kind words... Yah I can't recall but I think I have one more BBHB in flower then I will probably move on. The new PC seed is doing very well and I topped it /cloned it...

Coco is I feel easier than soil. It starts with only the mycos in it... So the rest is up to me to feed... clean slate... I only have issues because I automate it all... Really I run a decent setup but there is an underlying issue that once in awhile has been creaping back. I try to rid it and half succeed but i either reintroduce it or never fully rid it.... Tonight i changed up so much i cant think to list it all and I still have to do the same in veg... New feed top to bottom.... recently it is bad again ... I am cleaning and flushing with Physian 20. That shit is like so strong.. like medical grade strong.... I am using it just to clean then starting over.. That outta answer some stuff... new bennies too....

Flower Room Upgrade and Nute Changes.

So I haven't moved any plants in there yet as it still isn't completely done. But it has come along nicely and is pretty close. I have a few more things to work on then I will move into it. I just finished the sheetrock mud tonight and it is still wet in the pics. I won't bother sanding it. It is an L shape so hopefully the pics show it well enough...

I will run two more tubs along the right wall in the first couple pics. It is the ones i am using in flower now. All kinds of stuff needs to be moved into there when I do it as well. Fans , Filters, Res, Plants, Gonna have to take a day for it I bet. So it's pretty exciting.

I was suppose to order my light and rail tomorrow but it will need to wait until later in the week. Sick dogs can do that. But it will be soon.


So the next big change I did was I switched nutes and bennies. Here is the new line up....

I think that is the full line up besides a few preventative things..... I am ditching the Hygrozyme for Z7. I am completely ditching mychorizae as I have it in my coco already among other reasons. Protek for silica... Ginormous for the potassium I was skipping in the past. And the entire technaflora line for base and cal/mag.

I am determined to figure out the rez bactreria issue. I am using Phsyian20 to clean the rez now and that is some serious shit. I am super cautious like I am using nitroglycerin as it can wreck your skin etc.. Super Cautious!

Next thing to think of would be Airborne. I'll explain that later if I get there. 4 Days since I swapped out the nutes etc and it is still looking good!

So that's about it for now... Just a little mini update on the changes etc. I'll post more soon!

Yah I became a caretaker for another. So I would be hard pressed to fit it all in my current setup. My wife always said if I started caretaking for another I can take up all the space I need. So I didn't pass on that one! It is almost ready. I will finish it tomorrow night. Should.... I just need to run the RO line to the new room so I can fill it easier.. and move the stuff in there.... Soon!

Last Update On The Old.

So as the title says this is the last update with the old setup. I have the new rooms somewhat done and this is some last pics of the old.

I probably will just zip through this with little detail as I really just wanted to get the pics up...

So in Veg here we go....

and Flower....

Well thats a lot....

So I am sure my methods of posting will change a little because the new setup is a lot different.

Things are really booming overall... The switch in nutes and the bennies looks fabulous. Look how all the leaves are really reaching for the light. Looks pretty healthy... About time... I am going on a week plus and the rez's have stabilized no ick. The change seems to have helped this... New plan too.... So lets move on to the next update...
