Outdoor Growing With BeezLuiz

I haven't seen my son's plants in a couple weeks, but last I saw they looked pretty good. Here's some pics of his plants. They are currently getting fed GeoFlora Veg every 2 weeks. All the plants got their 2nd topping right after I took the photos.

You might remember this little guy/gal from a couple weeks ago.
It was forgotten in a damp paper towel for about a week with no light or nutrients. Well here it is today at what I'm calling day 15. It's a "regular" seed so I don't know yet if it will grow buds or sacs, but it's a fighter so I'm going to keep it going.

I still haven't harvested American Pie Auto yet, but I think it's finally really close. Today is day 103. I'll take some trichome pics a bit later today (hopefully). Here's a shot of my "faux tent".

Have a great day everyone! :Namaste:

The heat wave has indeed moved on. It's currently a pleasant 74F, but this weekend is supposed to heat right back up again close to 100F.
when are you going to be moving the What outside? I dunno...third base!
an American Beauty. Be Grateful. :)
Nice one, and I'm Grateful it's not Dead!

Here's some close-ups of American Pie. Mostly cloudy now, so I think I will harvest in the next day or two. It's 104 days old now (breeder estimate was 60 days  ).

Here's the two plants from @Weed Seeds Express. They are currently at day 70 from sprout and both now have pre-flower stigmas. I'm really happy about their progress so far. They've been topped about 3 times now and responding well to LST.

I was really tempted to try super cropping some of the tops on Purple Haze, but chickened out at the last minute. Instead, I bent them with some more LST - 4 tops in the picture below.

This must be your smallest Summer grow in quite a while. ;)
And I'd give the ABa another week. :cheesygrinsmiley:
This auto plant is taking almost as long to ripen as a photo plant. I've been pretty busy the past few days and don't know when I'm going to have a chance to harvest this one. It just might be another week.

I think today is finally chop day for my American Pie auto. It's 107 days today, and I think that is long enough!

No new pistil stigmas emerging, and the buds in general are looking spent. The trichomes look mostly cloudy to me through the 60x loupe, but through the macro lens on my phone camera they still seem to be a bit clear. Everything else to me is saying "done". Here's some pics:

Is it a thing with the autos not ambering up on the trichs? I have the same thing going on with some GG autos.
This is my first auto that doesn't want to ripen. Not sure what's going on with it. :hmmmm:
I'd save that White Widow too. She/he is a fighter!
It's really looking pretty good right now. Pics later...
Looks juicy - I’d hit it!
IKR! It's killin' me that it's taking so long to ripen.:yummy:
And we were singing...
Stop the music! After trimming a couple colas, I could see that there is indeed still lots of fresh pistil stigmas!
And closer examination of trichomes further down the bud still shows lots of clear! wtf

So... I decided to wait maybe another week to finish the harvest. I've done about 1/3 of the plant now.
And will finish the rest when it looks really ready... for reals this time! :headbanger:

So... I decided to wait maybe another week to finish the harvest.
Good choice! surely there'll (probably) be some amber next week :hmmmm:
My Super Silver Haze (photo) went 128 days, I finally harvested it with about 5 ambers on the whole plant.
I just got tired of waiting..

I realized that I haven't updated my other two autos in a while so here they are. They are both on day 34 and have been flowering for about 11 days now. They're in 3 gal fiber pots filled with FFOF. They are shaping up to be two of the largest autos I've grown to date.
The Zamaldelica is certainly looking like the Sativa dominant plant that it is (75% sativa). It's lineage is Zamaldelica (Zamal x Malawi/Thai) elite x (Malawi x Northern Lights Auto). I've been feeding it MC and is currently at 4.0 g/gal, and also getting a dose of homemade Calmag + Phos. It gets schlepped outdoors after the fog burns off on most days and then back under the lights in the late afternoon. I think I've seen one or two other people do something like that here on 420mag. ;) It was a bit thirsty when I took these shots.

The Gorilla Cookies is getting the same treatment as the Zam. It's a hybrid (50/50%) with a lineage of Gorilla Glue x Girl Scout Cookies.

Here's a quick shot of my What Widow #5. It's looking great and almost ready for a transplant. It's on day 20 of sprout discovery.

And finally another odd story to share... I also have a What Widow #4 - it actually sprouted before #5 did. Then a couple days later it was toppled over and laying on the soil. :( Looked like something might have chewed on its stem. Instead of tossing it, I propped it up by burying the stem all the way up to its first set of leaves. It's been in a coma for the past two and a half weeks and I was just about ready to toss it. Then two days ago, it showed signs of life. o_OIt now has a new set of leaves and has grown 1/4 inch! Here it is yesterday at 21 days old.
