OMM's Social Network Grow Part 2

Sinful...Great, so happy for you. It's so much fun to watch them sprout

Vape, X, and others...great ideas, now how do we actually make it happen? That's always my question. Nobody listens to reason anymore. The rich rule and control everything it seems like. the little guy never gets heard.

OMM...the germinating list sounds really good, can't wait to watch the party...

By my count, you listed 15 plants... What happened to downsizing?

The harvest looks great, upcoming girls also looks very :yummy:

Hi to Jo...can't wait for her story.

Take care my friend, don't work too hard and ware yourself out.

Thank you for all you comments. Warren sure knows what he is talking about and so do you...and me.

The question remains....How are we going to defeat those in power....I do not see them giving up all they have done to make sure they will be in power. The fact that only two people are allowed to speak freely in a public debate speaks for it's self. So does changing a law that prevents others for running for office. Cooked bastards.

What in hell are the rest of the American people doing, that they can't see what's happening?

Are we dopers the only one's conscious of what's happening? Sure seems like the 60s to me.

love that post, i dread election years because the same tactic and ppl run it all. i was a democrat now im a farmer i cant see a difference in the parties both are to extreme, balance it the key, all the "issues" are null to me until we get our civil liberties back, yes all elected officials should use the same systems as the people they mean to rule err i mean "govern" lol i used to love politics but i am totally disenchanted, the electoral college has to go, i see no reason the popular vote should ever be circumvented or even be possible, !!! wtf!? they act like fixing the country is such a monumental task yet there are more than enough $$ to fix it all!! again balance,, food stamps are not breaking the bank, try government/military waste and excess , the refusal to allow real green technology to become the mainstay , we can send a probe to mars, but an electric car that needs no charging is impossible?? hmmm battery/motor/alternator = self charging car, hmmm add solar and mini wind turbines in the grill, im no engineer but i can figure it out with the tech available to us here and now its very possible nevermind all the tech we are not aware of yet, that would fix the oil issue, hmm global warming deforestation hmm hemp makes mighty fine paper, rope, plastic, particle board, and it grows in one season, you all know this already and so do they, lobbyist should be removed from the equation, k im getting all worked up now , im stopping now much love to all im gonna go do some yoga now:peace:

BigIrishYoga?

Hey, OMM. Great looking Plants ya got there! Ladies is really looking good. Anyone doubting LED should stand up and take a look into this.

Someone should lobby for LED's in grow spaces. Imagine the energy savings we all could effect if we all went LED! But then we'd all have to have deep pockets to get rid of the HIDs and BigHoods and BigBallast are pretty powerful in their own right. That's a 2-part system that needs fixing, I think.

You are right the LEDs are the future unless the light manufactures can some how do some fantastic engineering.
It will be a while since they are the backbone of growing right now. Yep, that part needs fixing.

Thanks for looking in Buddy. :Namaste:

in regards to those looking for the best strain suited for producing the most CBD... I have 10 HT magazines for reading material in the restroom lol. These mags were issued in 2010, but knowledge doesnt expire, so i still soak up as much as possible. I remember reading an article about the best strains for CBD, in fact i believe one was mentioned earlier. Im not 100% sure, but i thought when i was readin the article it was giving methods to produce more CBD with all strains. I think you can produce more CBD by how long you allow your buds to mature and also doing things when currimg. i read these mags little at a time and im the type of person that has to reread everything multiple times just to understand so I could be misinterpurting what i read, but it is something to look into for those who find CBD beneficial.
I have only posted one other time but i have been reading, rereading, and following along with this site for 11 months now. and i just want to say being able to comment on OMM's journal is a true honor. i look up to everyone within this social network. Thanks you all for being so genuine. After seeing a lot of OMM and other's photos i realize there really are superheros. Thank you all. As you can see by my avatar I'm putting the knowledge I recieve here to good use. And again thank you

I'm a ballast-publican / I'm a Hood-ocrat!

Shut the hell up! you're both part of a light system that is supposed to serve the grow space... Grow up and work together.

Enter the LED-itarian with a bold new approach...

No..........

no, no, no... Everyone reads that article and says that...

It's talking about the RATIO of THC to CBD that is present. As THC degrades it does NOT turn to CBD.... it turns to C-B-N!

The higher amount is not a higher amount at all... it's the RATIO that they were talking about. and yes, as the THC degrades the ratio of CBD:THC does increase, but the actual amount of CBD does NOT.

I'm not yelling at ya, I'm just getting very frustrated at that article and how poorly it was written to CLEARLY convey the right idea... Sorry for the outburst, and it wasn't at you, it was simply to clear up....again... the mismanagement of a good article.

Welcome to :420:!! Where the REAL information abounds.... at least where I can keep it straight, anyway, lol

Well, what a pleasure to be the recipient of your second post on 420, CoryDavid88 :Namaste:

Since you've been reading along you know your always welcome here.

Thanks for tuning in with more information on CBD. Lucky for us we can read past issues of HT on line, so the CBD users can read them too. I do like your Avatar. I'm the same as you, to really get something down pat, I have read it again and again. Buddy it's an honor for me that you joined in the fun. It's people like you that make this fun. I'll be looking for you! OMM.:high-five:

I think I hear jandre sneaking up on us.

Politics the ruin of the our country. The Hate in our country right now is just unbelievable. People saying those people shouldn't vote, politicians saying that rape isn't a problem, or the after math of it, why should we provide health insurance, and the list goes on and on. i agree with OMM 100% and if the things don't change this country will not be looked at as the place to go for freedom. Sad part is there are so many people that just don't see it or if they do just blame it on the other party. The rich rule and that is sad. Our wanting our precious herb legalized may happen in some of the states but i doubt it will happen nation wide in my life time. We can hope but amazingly Reef Maddness still is very wide spread. Heck I work with people that think it is the evil of the world. We are legal here in Washington to use as medicine but you still have to keep quiet about it. Sad

Well said my Friend. The rich rule and they are not going to let go easily. I'm lucky to be here. Hawaiians have been brought up with mj. It's been here for a long time and only really looked down on by people that moved here when it became a state. They do have piss tests. After that, they usually don't test you again if it's a local company.
What a world, eh Beemerbill ?
:peace:

J i just invented big irish yoga, follow along here ppl, get your bong, blunt big fat doobe, vape etc sit down take 4 long rips feel tension leave, repeat as necessary,

POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!I BELIEVE ,,we will have some form of legalization in the next 5-10 yrs even reclassification to schedule2-3 will have major improvements reducing the ridiculous number of ppl getting criminal records for a plant thats weaker than beer!

Well...I'm not sure I would say weaker...way less dangerous for sure...I've yet to find a real health risk to using cannabis. But you are right, the current decriminalization model isn't the answer either. The feds have already said medical marijuana users can't own firearms, and just recently the administration announced it would broaden the civil forfeiture rules for firearms:

The Obama administration is making it easier for bureaucrats to take away guns without offering the accused any realistic due process. In a final rule published last week, the Justice Department granted the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) authority to “seize and administratively forfeit property involved in controlled-substance abuses.” That means government can grab firearms and other property from someone who has never been convicted or even charged with any crime.
It’s a dangerous extension of the civil-forfeiture doctrine, a surreal legal fiction in which the seized property — not a person — is put on trial. This allows prosecutors to dispense with pesky constitutional rights, which conveniently don’t apply to inanimate objects. In this looking-glass world, the owner is effectively guilty until proved innocent and has the burden of proving otherwise. Anyone falsely accused will never see his property again unless he succeeds in an expensive uphill legal battle.
Such seizures are common in drug cases, which sometimes can ensnare people who have done nothing wrong. James Lieto found out about civil forfeiture the hard way when the FBI seized $392,000 from his business because the money was being carried by an armored-car firm he had hired that had fallen under a federal investigation. As the Wall Street Journal reported, Mr. Lieto was never accused of any crime, yet he spent thousands in legal fees to get his money back.
Law enforcement agencies love civil forfeiture because it’s extremely lucrative. The Department of Justice’s Assets Forfeiture Fund had $2.8 billion in booty in 2011, according to a January audit. Seizing guns from purported criminals is nothing new; Justice destroyed or kept 11,355 guns last year, returning just 396 to innocent owners. The new ATF rule undoubtedly is designed to ramp up the gun-grabbing because, as the rule justification claims, “The nexus between drug trafficking and firearm violence is well established.”
The main problem is that civil forfeiture creates a perverse profit motive, leaving bureaucrats with strong incentives to abuse a process that doesn’t sufficiently protect those who may be wrongly accused. Criminal forfeiture is more appropriate because it’s tied to a conviction in a court with the option of a jury trial and evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. Innocents like Mr. Lieto have to fight against the might of the U.S. government with a watered-down standard that stacks the legal deck so prosecutors can get a quick win.
The rule extending civil-forfeiture power to the ATF recognizes this dynamic, stating with perhaps unconscious cynicism that an uncontested civil forfeiture “can be perfected for minimal cost” compared to the “hundreds or thousands of dollars” and “years” needed for judicial forfeiture. Nowhere is there any recognition of the burden placed on innocent citizens stripped of their property, or of the erosion of their civil liberties. In fact, the rule argues that, because in the past the ATF could turn over requests for civil forfeiture to the Drug Enforcement Administration, there has been no change in “individual rights.”
Instead of expanding the profit motive in policing, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. should be working to eliminate it.
