OMM's Social Network Grow Part 2

See, I step out for a bit and y'all leave me in the dust! When this state passed the MMJ legislation(without the approval of the R party, heaven forbid) with a 63% approval of voters, certain legislators made it their "elected" goal to show the 63% that we are wrong! When that didn't work, they held judicial hearings to see if they could circumvent the written law as approved by the voters. They have continued to use tax payers funds to narrow the interpretations, as they see fit. Which means we have to use our own monies to take them to court on every issue, to push back against their ill conceived restrictions. Their harsh, shrill voices continue to claim the laws are to "vague". Now their newest drive is to claim that the law does not allow for patient to patient transfers. If 63% of the voters approved the law as written, then exactly who are these legislators representing? Furthermore, if they took a sworn oath to uphold the laws of this state, why are they spending tax payer monies to thwart the will of the majority? Apparently, we have elected folks who believe that an election gives them unprecedented power to do as they please. These folks need to be voted out of office, and possibly re-educated in the proper conduct of an elected official, before we deport them(tongue-in-cheek). If 99% of the citizens would vote, then it wouldn't matter what the 1% wanted. Sorry brother, just had to rant. As for LED's, well, ours were the cheap ones and weren't worth the money spent on them. With electric being cheaper here then by you, I will stick with my "old" technology for now. It cost me about $300 per month to run 3-1000 watt HPS, 3-6 bulb T-5's, 3-6inch inline duct fans, 2 circulating fans, an air pump and a water pump(both used in the cloner). Not to bad for the amount of "medicine" I produce(~ 12 ozs per plant x 4 plants). Maybe in the future I will have the funds to try the good LED's. I'll try to get in here more often, as this is the round table for all things enlightning! Hope you and Jo are doing well brother. Peace be with you!

love that post, i dread election years because the same tactic and ppl run it all. i was a democrat now im a farmer i cant see a difference in the parties both are to extreme, balance it the key, all the "issues" are null to me until we get our civil liberties back, yes all elected officials should use the same systems as the people they mean to rule err i mean "govern" lol i used to love politics but i am totally disenchanted, the electoral college has to go, i see no reason the popular vote should ever be circumvented or even be possible, !!! wtf!? they act like fixing the country is such a monumental task yet there are more than enough $$ to fix it all!! again balance,, food stamps are not breaking the bank, try government/military waste and excess , the refusal to allow real green technology to become the mainstay , we can send a probe to mars, but an electric car that needs no charging is impossible?? hmmm battery/motor/alternator = self charging car, hmmm add solar and mini wind turbines in the grill, im no engineer but i can figure it out with the tech available to us here and now its very possible nevermind all the tech we are not aware of yet, that would fix the oil issue, hmm global warming deforestation hmm hemp makes mighty fine paper, rope, plastic, particle board, and it grows in one season, you all know this already and so do they, lobbyist should be removed from the equation, k im getting all worked up now , im stopping now much love to all im gonna go do some yoga now:peace:

Maybe I'll PM yo at some point...I can make a case for the electoral college...and why it's there to protect us.

Vape, X, and others...great ideas, now how do we actually make it happen? That's always my question. Nobody listens to reason anymore. The rich rule and control everything it seems like. the little guy never gets heard.

I wish I had the answer to that...but I've found EVERYONE I've talked to about Gary Johnson way more receptive than I thought they would be...It's like everyone's fed up and they're just waiting for a chance to make a difference, they just don't know how.

OMM,

To get off of the politics...you said you had more energy now that you're not smoking? What does that mean...I know I was gone for a while...but I didn't think that long! :cheesygrinsmiley:

:ganjamon:

I doubt they will get pissed because it will never happen. Puts to much money in the politicians pockets.

Hey GMT1975A......yep...left you in the dust.

I have to agree...if the people vote it in....then that's it. No redos thank you. Now he's just wasting tax payers money. What an idiot. Next vote may ever be higher for our side!

Well, if the power was cheaper here, might just get a new tent and run my 400 watters again and still use the LEDs too. Ah...dreams.

Jo and I are fine....Jo was just saying she wants to be 16 again. :Namaste:

Vape!

After about two weeks of wearing the patch to quit smoking, my lungs are much cleaner and I breath much better, energy has come back to me. Even THsea tells me I move faster than before and finally the urge for a cig is lessoning. I will change to a weaker patch soon, so we'll see what happens then. They told me if I didn't quit, I would be waging an oxygen tank around with me. Light a joint and BooM !

That's awesome brother! I was up to 3 packs a day when I was in the Army. I cut back a bit once I got out and had to pay civilian prices for them, and then quit completely a few years later...that was about 15 years ago. :)

I'm a ballast-publican / I'm a Hood-ocrat!

Shut the hell up! you're both part of a light system that is supposed to serve the grow space... Grow up and work together.

Enter the LED-itarian with a bold new approach...

OK OMM Heres my election rant Being vets, We probably have same views . We thought that when things were wrong,You could get signatures and vote for a change. Now we have done that and the "lifers" refuse to follow it. Both parties. They are afraid of losing the power over us.THANK GOD FOR SEVEN HONEST JUDGES. Things are changing. Its county by county.Love Genesee county. Oakland county has a real good chance to get rid of the top cop. The woman running against him is a good person. So vote. It does count.
But when you get to the to voting for judges keep the ones we have.
And heres my view on president.... we have 2 clones Jimmy CarterII and John F. Kennedy II you pick, but vote the other party the rest of the way. No one party rule please

I dont think that its fair to compare mittwitt with JFK but I do agree with the fact that your vote does count most of the time.
Hey OMM, glad to hear about how much better you feel now that you have nipped the cigs.good for you:bravo:

I'm sure we are close on our views John. We have gal out here that volunteered for another combat tour in Afghanistan, before she retired and has started running for congress. Guess who I'm voting for.:high-five:

I used the patches in 1994 to kick the habit I had since I was 14. I tired so many time to quit but the last time was the last time. I had left a pack of cigs on the frig with 3 cigarettes in it and i had 4 patches left when i walk away. Found the cigarettes behind the frig about 5 years later. Haven't look back. Took a long time to before the smoke started smell bad. Now i don't like it. Keep up the good work and the desire to quit. You will be SO happy.

Thanks beemerbill, your support helps and means allot to me.

I hereby request everyone to stfu so I can catch up! I'm only to page 34 and 3 more pages are added today!

Oh and to OMM and those that were asking about a defoliation tutorial, well I wouldn't call it a tutorial per se, but here it is: Increasing yield with defoliation indoors - What's it mean? How to do it?

I figure since some bonehead nominated me to MoM, it'd probably be a good time to post my dribble on the subject of defoliation. Might earn me a few brownie points and maybe even end up with some free nutes!

Yes I'm kissing asses and brown nosing the entire population of 420mag! I once road a buddy of mine on the back of my Harley in San Francisco through the heart of the Castro district (very gay area for those that dont know) grabbing his ass with a reach around yelling "he's all mine boys"! Embarrassing the living shit out of him. I'm straight, and I have zero shame! I have no problem throwing a little brown nose out on the internet!

*have a great day everyone!:cheer:

I know I am several pages behind but I could not help myself, this post gave me the biggest smile I have had in weeks, I lived in the city for ten years!! You rock bassman thanks for giving me some good medicine man!!
Shizzy

OMM all caught up now, I envy your strength to quit smoking. I want to so badly, I smoke a pack about every three to four days, but I know after 30 some years and a habit that was not always so tame, I believe that some damage has really been done......I really wanna join you! Thank you for being the kick ass dude that you are!

:circle-of-love:
