First Grow Indica Under CFLs 2012

are them pics of autos then, im growing one its 8 weeks old and 4inches high, but my other auto is a week old and the same height, not sure whats going on with the 1st 1, its in flower and it only really started growing when it went into flower, before then i was going to kill it off as it wouldnt of gave me anything, but since showing sex it has really started growing and went from 2 inches high to 4 in a matter of 2 days, so im hoping its going to get a lot bigger now its in flower, my other auto is not very old and is growing like a normal plant, but the only difference is that the leaves seem really short and the fingers on the leaves are really fat, i just wanted to give autos a try and see what yield i got off each one, ive seen some people only get 1/8 per plant and i saw another journal where someone got 5oz of each auto

I have an auto that just hit 6" at 59 days old. I harvested my first auto (my problem child) she was small 20" tall and the wet weight was 1 and 3/4 oz i hope to have about 1/2 oz dry.But my others will have aprox 2 or 3 oz wet for each of the others.

No harvest yet cloning first then planting outside.

Its that time of the year for all us Canadians.

Here s my first clone ever, I would say its doing a lot better then my seeds did, I never gave it any MG, only rapid growth.

This is a problem I ve had on a few clones, they wilt, wondering if I should wait for more roots to grow before i take them out of the dome?

Heres the clones that are going outside

I could not wait for the outside plants to be done so I decided to flower one of my mothers early, at least Ill have an idea what im goona get in the long run:thumb:

looking good, im just picking up on the foil tip, its a very poor reflector of light and reflects mainly heat so can cause issues, the best option is either mylar security blankets, very cheap to buy, cheaper than buying a roll of mylar and does the same job, but as fire is a concern id try using something that could be painted flat white, just an idea, but tin foil is poor reflector, if you do have to use the foil then dont use the shiny side, you need to use the dull side this reflects the light best

The evil male plant:rip::byebye:

that male looks amazing, cant believe they end up looking like that, never seen one like that before, most people kill them long before they flower, is their any noticable trichs on it, people use them for hash so im thinking they must have some crystals else it would be pointless

Not seeing any trichs with my eyes, but it does have the smell of a plant in flowering. It has some purple in the seed pods which I thought was pretty neat. The strain of the mother plant that produced this male was called The purp from bcbuddepot. So I guess thats where the purple comes from. This male was chosen out of all the male I had for its pollen, or I would of killed it a long time ago, got him living in a window ledge far a way from the girls.

sounds and looks like you picked the perfect male for pollen, could i ask how you keep pollen, i got a nice hermie in flower now and waiting for pollen to do some fem seeds or fem auto seeds when i get chance, but im trying to find out the best way to keep the pollen viable for say 2 months or more, no more than 3, a lot of people say freeze it after its dry, my only problem with this would be that when you get it out the freezer its going to get damp strait away due to the temp change, so whats the best way of keeping it, would it stay good in say a small black tub at room temp, if i left it to dry on some paper and then tipped it in a small black tub would this keep it fresh, at the moment i have got some shiny black paper stuff under the plant covering the pot and im waiting for the pollen so i can give it a good shake and get the most i can, but i didnt know what the best method was for keeping it, freezing seems to me like it would ruin it when taken out the freezer as it would go damp strait away

Ya I would say freezing is your best bet from what I have read, try to remove as much air out of your container as possible, less air means less moisture.

ok, thanks, i wasnt sure if it got 2 damp when it comes out of the freezer, im hoping to use it this time round but if not ill try freezing it, so their is no way it would sta viable in a tub kept at room temp in the dark

GiGaBaNE is right, you need some way of removing the heat build up, it will build up quick under that dome, could possibly drill some vent holes so the heat vents up instead of been pushed all around the sides of the rig, you will need some fan blowing up into the dame but i would really consider some kind of vent holes drilled into the hood to let the heat rise and escape before coming a problem

If you look at the pic closely I got holes drilled across the middle of the reflector

hope you have a fan blowing up on them from underneath. i know they only cfls, but in such proximity under a domed roof, they got to be making a lot ofheat on the plastic.

What plastic you talking about on the Y sockets?
