First Grow Journal - Kandy Kush & Lemon Skunk - 2012-2013

So I definently went to water this morning and realized I had no water And forgot to grab some after work.... SOOOO about to go get some haha. Guess what ill be doing at 4am? I will be mixing tiger bloom, big bloom, and unforninently i forgot to pick up some Cha ching today and they are now closed. So i guess just 2 tsp of tiger and 1 tbsp of big bloom. sorry if it sounded like i vented a little, rough day. Honestly wish i could take them out of the 3 gal and put them in 5 gal but my space doesnt permit it. I'm curious to as how root bound they already are / are going to be and how it will effect development.

How often and how much do you water? My Kandy Kush has been averaging 1/2 Gal every 4-5 days, while the Sleeskunk likes more, 1/2 Gal every three days. They're both in 5 Gal pots.

Honestly, I'm watering every other day, my soil drys up fast. I think its because of my low humidity in the room, sits around 20% now that the humidifier is off. Nutes every other watering.

*Edit* OH and I forgot, they each take about 3/4 of a gallon each if not the whole gallon and they are in 3 gallon buckets.

Nothing new, buds have gotten slightly bigger, lemon skunk is very very frosty. I'm not sure im going to grow kandy kush again even though I have seeds, its required alot of attention and I just havent liked the way its grown and the buds are very long and skinny, almost like they just run up the stalks Im sure its going to be great smoke but the lemon skunk has definently impressed me alot more. Photos soon

KG, looking back over your journal here. Very impressive first grow! +reps buddy!

I'm on the fence about the Kandy Kush too. She has been frosty from early on, but the buds haven't put on much size at all, especially compared to the Sleeskunk growing next to her who's buds are three times as big. The photos I posted are real close close-ups and just make her look good.

I have read that KK is supposed to start packing on trichs after the fifth week in flower. If that means she'll get bigger or heavier too, I don't know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Anyway, I think you're doing an excellent job here. Keep it up and bring on some bud porn!

The trichs were taken the day of my last update
off a bud I pulled from the bottom to try .
Now the other two are from this morning all over the bud sites the pistols are turning colors. Is this normal?

Probably most if not all, will turn color.

Cut a little snip off a sugar leaf to test for trich color. Look at it under normal lighting.

Maybe I'm not using the correct term. Snip off a little piece of a bud leaf with trichomes on it.

Pistils turning colors ( red, brown, etc....) is normal. New growth ( pistols ) will show up.

This grow has been Terminated. Sorry to have let you all down, I appreciate all of your help and assist. You have been great. I'm sorry to have to do this, i cut them down and hung what i could upside down 3 days they will come down, didnt flush and feed with nutes yesterday, im sure they are trash.
