Tweeked the light fixtures abit now the bulbs dont move around like before
Mounting a small fan on the side of the hood is a good idea, I would diffently do that if my grow room was more in closed but I think im fine with heat I got two oscillating fans one on the 400 watt mh at the top of the canopy kinda blowing the heat back up, and one rotating over all the plants, plus theres a window that i open up depending on the temp and wind outside. The cfls are being used as side light and for my clones. Glad your around donpaul.p you keep me thinking, Its a good thing to keep thinking on how to become a better grower once you stop thinking, your skills stay the same. knowledge is power my man Oh ya those green marks by your name what are they and how did you get so many so fast?i had 14 300 watt cfls in my hood and the heat was not to bad but i had a fan blowing on the hood to remove any heat and push it away, but my hood wasnt set in like yours so yours will trap heat, cfls dont produce much heat, a lot of growers say if you had a sealed room and had 400watt of cfl and 400 watt of hps then the hottest room would be the cfl, i have to strongly argue against this, my grow room is 3ft by 3ft and floor to ceiling high, i had all my cfls on in their and the door totally shut, as soon as i put my hps in their with the same 12v fans i had temps go up towarsds the hundreds, after the door been shut for only an hour, so cfls do not produce as much heat and wont heat up the same space hotter than a hps light, hps gives off more light but it also gives of a shed load of more heat,
the real test will be when you get the lights on, check the temp with your hand or thermometer, i think you will need the heat moving so a small fan would help, it would be good if you could say mount a fan in the side of the hood and have it blowing the air out of the hood and not into the hood, this would remove any heat build up, would require mounting a 21v computer fan onto the side panel and cut a hole, you might not have any problems mate so see what temps you get
hey man u should put sides on the light to get the most out of ur wts maybe put small computer fans built in on the sides over all tho im making me one when i start grow bigger pce!
I love DIY too. I think DIY before I buy. live by it.love the DIY stuff ..Its part of my life.
Thanks donpaul. I was checking out your NL x BB Nice looking 2ltr grow, thats what I am aiming for with my indoor plants.i agree, everything is looking great, well done
I was eating some yogurt today, looked at the ingredients and there is alot of stuff in yogurt that this plant uses, just wondering if its ever been used?
I think I might give it a try next run. My wife cousin is a bee farmer and i was reading the label of the honey we got from him and its got all the same stuff as mollasses in it, I did feed honey to my plants, since im new at this hobby its hard to tell if it does anything.hmm probiotic yoghurt foliar feed
its has some merit bro...needs testing=D
OK OK another label reader.. Me to ,, Hell if I'm high , it takes me forever to grocery shop..But you do have a valid question
