Looking nice newbiedude,

Keep doing what your doing and I still wouldnt be doing any feeding as the leaves are a nice darker green showing they have all they need, The soil is obviously rich in Nitrogen.

Are you planning on topping or LST them at all?

Thank-you my friend that's music to my ears :)
I've only watered once since transplant and that was with just pH'ed water. I ain't touched 'em dude, just turning regularly as they stretch towards the light and lowering as they get taller. I would like to transplant again and use John Innes Number 3 Soil as this is for plants going into bloom and then i won't have to mess around with nutes as i have a fear I will mess things up. Any thoughts on this please? They are currently in John Innes Number 2 transplanted from John Innes potting soil. I didn't bother with Number 1 as i didn't wanna transplant 3 times.
I would like to LST or top but I ask how does it improve the plant and how does it affect overall growth and yield? Many thanks JCB420, peace bro.

Re: First ever closet grow using a 300 watt CFL, a bit of skill and a lot of luck!

No Probs Newbiedude,
Topping your plants benefits by turning a plant with one main top into a plant with 4+ main tops. Also if your using CFl its good for light penetration as cfl's dont penetrate that far. Its defo worth doing and now is perfect time. To top then just cut off the new growth shoot at the top and all the side branches will start to grow and things will bush out. There are many different techniques and all work well.

As for re-potting , I wouldnt for now as you just have and them pots will be fine for a while before putting into main pot.

Alright JCB420, thanks for the advice i will look up on the web to see if there is a video on topping so that i do it exactly right. Don't wanna harm my babies.

Look well Newbie!
Topping looks fine, just as simple as pulling the top off. Still quite dark green, keep to water feeds for now.

Re: First ever closet grow using a 300 watt CFL, a bit of skill and a lot of luck!

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words of support. I made the cuts at an angle cos that's what the vid said :)
I've still not watered them JCB420, I just give them a spray over an hour before lights out ;)
I'm a little worried about feeding when the time comes but I should be ok with a little help from my friends!

Re: First ever closet grow using a 300 watt CFL, a bit of skill and a lot of luck!

Hi everyone, Day 1 of week 7 from seed (so this is the beginning of week 4 of veg I guess) My babies are looking fine albeit a little "limp" IMO however due to the fact I have not watered since they were transplanted then they may be nearly ready for another water. I found the bottom set of leaves on two of the plants were looking really yellow and so i removed them. I would like to post a pic but there isn't really anything to show. I just wonder if I should water soon. Plus with me using Tap Water I'm worried that their may be nutrient lock already as I have very hard water and I'm worried I'm poisoning my babies :( Please assist if you can, Peace guys!

Re: First ever closet grow using a 300 watt CFL, a bit of skill and a lot of luck!

Hey guys just a quick, but REALLY IMPORTANT question. Why are my leaves all looking droopy?
I have only watered once since transplant (nearly 4 weeks) but the pots still feel heavyish. I spray them with a little water every night but I wouldn't have thought this to be causing problems. I'm confused now because it looks like under-watering but i'm scared it's over-watering. I will post a pic later on when I have had a sleep lol. It's quarter to 2 in the morning and i'm knackered lol.
