ok thanks for the info, some reps coming your way
so i have heard of these dunks before, so do i just let it soak in the water then water my plants with it, i dont have many gnats flying around but the soil is full if big grubs, like a clear white color, so im thinking these are the gnats grubs, i have had newly planted seeds die on me or really struggle for the first week, so clearly the grubs are eating everything thats fresh, ill get rid of this soil and what i got left in the bags once this grow is over, ill then get some new compost and break it all up and try and squash it all so it kills anything in it,
i have heard you can cook it in the oven but it has bits of wood in it and stuff like that so not sure if thats a good idea,
but i do need to solve the problem
so them dunks are safe to use to water the plants with, i just leave it to soak in the water then i can use it to water with, if thats the case then ill try and get some when im not at work on wednesday, if i dont ill have problems, i always wondered why my young plants struggled but after a couple of weeks they soon picked up, clearly these bugs are eating the roots as they develop and the plant can thrive till its grown a big enough root mass.
thanks for the info ill look into it,
hi all, hope you had a great xmas
happy new year everyone, sorry i not been on here recently but my flat got flooded so had to move into a friends house, but back now,
my grow is still on managed to keep everything in flower, got plenty of plants in flower now, its the most ive had, the 2ltr hempie has turned into a moster, harvested one, got 20g dry from that one, nice smoke as well, but this one is getting really fat, the buds all ready 3 times fatter than anything ive harvested before, the buds like crazy as well, its like its flower then the flowers have flowered and they have just been getting fatter and fatter, so i think ill hit an oz with this one, ill take some pics and show you all,
the auto purple i harvested got me 33g dry, not bad for an auto, nearly doube what i got off my other autos, but wait till you see the size of my auto hash plant, this plant should easily smash an oz, again ill post the pics,
got clones ready as well, growing well, some of the ak47 cross uk cheese i bred i planted 2 and 2 are growing so as this was a male and female from the same strain then im hoping the buds will turn out the same,
i cant get any mosquito dunks in this country, or if you can i cant find them, not even on fleebay, lost another 2 seeds to them gnats larvae, the 2046 might survive but not holding much hope, it did not sprout after 4 days, so i dug down gently and found the tap root been eaten, pulled the seed out the soil and had to put it in paper towel to try and get it back to life, not holding much hope as it looks like its all ready dead, the other was a kandy kush seed, nothing left when i dug it up just an empty shell again, so not doing anything else till i get rid of all the old soil, is not worth it, ill just start again once flowered what i got,
ill do an update today or tomorrow as im out for dinner tomorrow and at my moms so will be going out for dinner, ill try and get it done when i get back,
happy 2013 my friends,
sounds interesting GiGa, i get algae in plain water though mate, when i fill some jugs up for my fish tank they get algae on the top of the jugs if i dont use the water quick enough, so plain water will grow algae,
just uploading some pics now, feeling a bit rough today, i guess working on my moms car with just a t-shirt on was a bad idea, feel like im getting man flu, its deadly, women are lucky, they dont get man flu so they dont understand how much we suffer,
give me a few minutes and ill have the pics up
Wiz,
I have not had a problem with FFOF yet. Sure hope I do not! I have used it on 6 plants so far. My only issue has been the serious drop off of P after a month. Easily fixed but really the only issue I have. I use it for my seedlings. One point to make is that all 6 plants have been autos. Just my two cents!
