sounds good i gave up theres nothing local im gonna have to go to the next town over tomorrow im tired and need to sit on the o2for a bit thethe heat and humidity is kikkin my butt, makes my back and knees hard to cope with, i have been following doc i just forget exactly what stuff i need with all the info overload lol

I feel you about the heat and humidity...i'm in the same boat with my knees and back, this summer has been the worst in a while!

Overload I might be able to help with...I just went back to see, and as it turns out I was wrong about the BX. :sorry:

...My most recent soil recipe is working very well....the best so far:

Promix HP
20 lbs worm castings
2.5 bags Ancient Forest
4 cups 6-5-3
2 cups Azomite
4 cups Rock n Chicken (composted chicken manure pellitized with soft rock phosphate.)

The new mix will be very different from this one above....radically different.

He starts with the large, 3.8 CF bail of Pro-Mix, and the 6-5-3 is:

6 parts calcitic limestone (>90% CaCO3)
5 parts SRP
3 parts gypsum

If you can wait, it won't be long before he has the recommendations for his new mix...

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - BPN - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Multi-Strain Tent Pa

my mom has a ckn farm i bet i can tons of composted manure from under her coop, i figured doc was getting that broadcast and would not apply to us not buying it,that we would have to go thru ag like he did

As long as it's been properly composted that's great! The composting not only breaks things down so you don't burn the plants, but the rise in temp kills pathogens like E. coli and salmonella that might be in the manure.

I'm not exactly sure what Doc has up his sleeve, but I would imagine anyone could order the broadcast with that lab report...

Sorry to hear the Blue Cheese isn't cutting it for you...I think we are all in the same predicament. Trial and error is the only way to find out what works best.

got this stuff i looked it up and i think it will be good for organic growing and maybe of use in high brix heres some pics so you guys can look into it if you so choose,i put 3 tsp in the bucket alomg with some dark matter humate tea 1t,and 1tbps molasses have decent foam for a day i think in two should be good to hit the plants, and heres a new pic of the indoor veggie garden and a couple shots of the mite infested veg girls the ones with cut leaves are being sprayed with my silver spray to induce pollen sacs for feminized seed

well its been under the coop for a couple yrs ,and i could set it up to compost more or solarize it in black plastic bags, that would be cool if we could get the broadcast too,now im wondering if all this stuff i have is a waste of money *sigh* ,i dont know whats going on with the blue cheese ,but its just not helping as much as it was in fact its that way with all the strains i have on hand, blueberry gum, blue cheese, purple maroc, im exceied to have purple#1 back in my collection and looking fwd to trying chemdog and the white widow big bud cross, :)

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - BPN - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Multi-Strain Tent Pa

very clean looking
thank you i try but i want to be like brother jandre2k3 immaculate! but i lack his level of ocd lol and diligence

BID- probably a stupid question, but are you running your lights at night? Can help with cooling maybe...
no stupid questions, i really need to do a run down of what im doing more often:thumb:

Doc has been having great results with his Pro-Mix blend...some of the best yet. I think he is using the general purpose BX...if you are planning for high Brix and can get the same stuff, you'll be able to closely follow Doc's recommendations. :thumb:

For SRP, I use Espoma, but that's just because it's the easiest to pick up around me, as long as you don't get hard rock phosphate or one of the super phosphates, you'll be fine.

I'm not familiar with Soil Secrets, I'll check them out when I have a chance. As for the mites...I've never dealt with them, but I've been told once spider mites are in a room it's very difficult to fully eliminate them...they are so damn tiny they can safely hide almost anywhere! I've been looking in something like Best Yet or one of the other Cedarcide products with a fogger as a way to "sterilize" a room from unwanted pests...but I don't know that you'd want to use it around the plants...more of a between grow treatment. They market the products for use against bedbugs, which are very hard to eliminate. Supposedly the stuff is a death sentence for all arthropods.

:ganjamon:

i saw some triple super phosphate but i remembered that was a no no
i saw some pro mix peat, but nah, i have cedars growing all around me wonder if some branches or sawdust from them placed in the grow areas would help, of some essential oil
i have been using neem and if it gets bad i use the shultz garden spray made from chrysanthemums and can be used up till the day of harvest, but i try to stick to the neem and make retarded mites lol im interested in a death sentence for them at this point, im tired of them trashing my plants every flower cycle 2 or 3 times

Hey B.I.D. thanks for checking out my grow. Looks like things over here are well.

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - BPN - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Multi-Strain Tent Pa

ok... after an exhaustive search and driving out 80$ in gas and going to every garden center/hardware store/nursery i have come home virtual empty handed, soft rock phosphate or anything like it along with forest humus calcium nitrate, and pro mix are not available in a 100 mile radius, so high brix aint hap'n i refuse to pay 5 times the retail price in shipping for these items, so i have decided to go with just really good organic growing, and my old trusty coco, i found big blocks the 2 cubic foot after expanded for 10 bux i got 2 one fine and one coarse 21 bux total i am used to paying 30 for 1 block due to shipping, i cant help but wonder if its a sign... im sure after doc comes out with his new diddy bag for hibrix it will be just as difficult for me to acquire
since the organic nutes will work in coco and any coco / soil ratio i decide on , spiffy and i had a long talk on the way home and we agree its very frustrating to try to do something and spend $$$$ after $$$ and its never enough, so enough is enough, i can grow some very good organic meds ,everyone of the other patients i have shared with are telling me its better than anywhere else they have had, one lady is from cali and said my bbgum is as good if not better than any dispensary shes been to, naturally im super pleased to hear that, so my thinking is high brix is going to have to wait, i have enough stuff to make some killer soil and keep me growing for a long time! thats it im done hunting

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - BPN - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Multi-Strain Tent Pa

yeah we are shooting for next year for full on hbx soil, im confident in my knowledge of soil building and huge inventory of goodies that we will be real close till then, and i still have a ton of hydro stuff to play with, then theres my beloved coco, with its hydro like growth and acceptance of organic nutrients, these gonna be alot of kick ass cannabis in the future, (im building my co2 genny right now got your diy page open) i have a single bottle version somewhere i may use as well
