Watering and defol before flip

So, would you continue watering as usual in the last couple of weeks? I would think that the plant would not need as much. Im thinking like Bell Curve need for water from seedling to harvest, or I may be wrong. Im going to extend this grow to find out

This is the finish plant from the original post. It is entering "the fade" on its own. I'm feeding water only. Trichomes are about 10% amber.
My question: i'd love to see more of the fade, but I'm afraid that would take away from harvest quality. What is the sweet spot between Trichomes, pistols and "The fade" for optimum quality at harvest?
Thanks for the help pulling thru to the end on this one. I thought I had lost it halfway through.

I personally look for around 30% on the actual bud made this mistake last grow I had.(don't check the leaves as they were already growing before the bud) I would still water as normal but just till a little run off
