Pit, we had a friend stop by with a brand new EZ-Cloner setup for 30 plants. He bought it so he could get some clones off our plants, plus a few extra for us. Bought it on your recommendation. So we have 10 cuttings going now, maybe a few more in a week or so. Thanks again for sharing yor most valuable knowledge with us!

Great work pit, glad to see you are still hard at it. Congrats on the 1000 reps. U are a master at what u do. Glad to see u got a grow tent, I love mine! Just a little difficult to keep temps down, for me at least.

I try to keep it as clean as possible, no dead leaves laying around, no standing water etc...and a lil voodoo dust helps

Got a question I can recall are you using the rooting compound that comes along with the E-Z Cloner or did you use a different mix? I recall your partner making a mix, but I just cant remember if it was for the E-Z cloner.

Heres what I can attest to....Ive used GH 3 part, and GH Flora. both left "salty balls".
Ive been running H&G for aprox 9 weeks from seed. Heres the condition of the hydroton
on a scale of 1-10 the GH media was a 12. I would call this a 2 or less.
draw your own conclusions. I would submit that the salt on G.I.'s media may have other factors such as water level....frequency of flood cycles etc.....it could ben nothing or it could be something, I dont know, but this is what Im getting.It looks like Bamboo....LOL
WOW, that is a serious trunk. I have noticed that Canna Aqua leaves some salt residue. I have a slight ring in the controller, and some of the hydroton balls have little bits of salt stains on them as well. I have re-read a few times, and maybe I missed it, but how tall did you veg them? Also at what point do you remove the leaves/branches from the bottom of the plant?

yeah, other folks say they are bigger than advertised, hopefully it wont bee too much over what I expected....great work as always on your grow man!! I can't wait to get refurbed....I got a new ballast/air cooled reflector/tent on the way...won't be long now!

Take the cutting and dip into VitaGrow for 10 seconds. Stick the cutting into the neoprene collar. The water in the resovoir has RootExcelerator (H&G),Algen extract (H&G) and 600 ppm of your normal nutes..we use the Aquaflakes A&B (equal quantities). You will have roots right up to the dip line of the VitaGrow.
