The VipersNest Continuous

WOW, that is a serious trunk. I have noticed that Canna Aqua leaves some salt residue. I have a slight ring in the controller, and some of the hydroton balls have little bits of salt stains on them as well. I have re-read a few times, and maybe I missed it, but how tall did you veg them? Also at what point do you remove the leaves/branches from the bottom of the plant?

we vegged them 6 weeks and I started removing the bottom branches after 3 weeks gradualy until I got to where its at now. About 10 days before bloom Ill stop pruning so they will recover and not be stressed. The average height was about 36" in 6 weeks. If you rememeber we had trouble in the beginning of vegging, made some mistakes in how to mix the nutes, used 1 of the wrong additives etc. we lost about 10 days of growth trying to figure out where we screwed up...new nutes, new learning curve.

yeah, other folks say they are bigger than advertised, hopefully it wont bee too much over what I expected....great work as always on your grow man!! I can't wait to get refurbed....I got a new ballast/air cooled reflector/tent on the way...won't be long now!

congrats on getting the new equipment!

Take the cutting and dip into VitaGrow for 10 seconds. Stick the cutting into the neoprene collar. The water in the resovoir has RootExcelerator (H&G),Algen extract (H&G) and 600 ppm of your normal nutes..we use the Aquaflakes A&B (equal quantities). You will have roots right up to the dip line of the VitaGrow.

Thanx PIT. That helps out. I just built a new E-Z cloner and I am making a few adjustments. I just want some of those BATTLE-AX roots like you've pumped out of yours. :ganjamon:

Question: What size pump came with your E-Z Cloner? I ran a 396 gph pump for my mini E-Z Cloner for the test trial, worked great. But for the bigger one I know I will need a bigger size pump for better pressure. Just trying to get an idea of how big theirs is, rather yours is. So If its chill with you, can you pass along the info onto me. Which one did you get and the size pump came with it?:thanks:

Cool..Got it. Those specs make things alot easier. I got their blueprints and just have to get the pump...LOL..I have all the parts in the room already, so the only real cost is the pump and VitaGrow. You just helped me finish it off. Thanx. +rep (if and when it allows me to..)

This is how we roll with pruning our ladies
11_29_12.jpg

This is a great shot of the lack of useless undergrowth
Hope you like. The new Macro lens that Andy Botwin recomended to us will be in tomorrow

Im extremely happy with this grow, we have made corrections for each grow and they are clearly getting better and better

Pit, those plants are ridiculous, i have camped out in the woods under smaller trees than those :)

Hey Pit from looking at ur last pics should I trim the lower branches from my plants. Any hints would be helpful..

By the way ur ladies are beautiful

Thanks for your time..

Now thats what I'm talking about. That pict of below the canopy is clean. The way a grow is suppose to look 24/7. Lol..your partner looks lost..hope you left a nice nug trail. When you hts'd the tallest plant, did you soften the tissue then break or just ((snap)) it into place. I can't recall..I would look for it, but all I remember its somewhere within the last 25- 40 pages ago..

Thanx Butcher, the canopy bottom kinda looks like the bottom of a scrog.
When we HST'ed them I did both methods, snapping them or breaking the tissue up. when you break the tissue up you will get that pronounced knuckle. Both ways work IMO. Glad you like, I though it would be good way to show an example of how we do it. we get mad airflow under the plants like this.

:peace:

Hey Pit Great looking plants your an inspiration for me for sure!!! I dont mean to butt in. But I have the same question, My ladies are 15 days veg, 15''in tall, hydro flood tables.Yesterday I trimmed a lot of the small stuff off from around the bottom branches, including some of the smaller branches... Should i remove more or wait longer for more growth??
