The VipersNest Continuous

I have been reading alot about the sure to grow medium. One time use, cheap and very clean. I am hoping to test some of this medium out real soon. The medium is very new to the market.

What is H+G?
I like the gh because I know it well, understand it and its cheap around 30 bucks a gallon. I buy big when I get nutes, usually a case (6) at a time. 2 blooms for every bottle of micro, 2 micro for every bottle of grow.

House & Garden.
Aquaflakes A + B. 5 gallons of each is 180.00 . You use the same amounts of A+B equally.
comes out to 18.00 a gallon...very good price.

Well, at that price, and if it grows like your's Pit, it looks like i'll be changing to H&G as well

where are you getting them, can you recommend an online shop?

(I am reviewing your journal, very nice so far.)

DocBud......No nutes just 5.5 water put the seed about a quarter inch in fill the tray then drain it.

Its crazy but I have been preaching germing straight from medium for years now and I have always been shunned or ridiculed when I answer someones post about whats the best method to germ but if people want to see the roots and ripp the tiny hairs apart removing the seedling from the papertowel and really taking a chance of snapping the tap root. I understand presoaking and some do a steryl rinse but with the right medium its as easy as put the seed into the medium.

Ive done the paper towels, floating seeds and just putting them right into a starter plug or rockwool. I prefer the plug myself as well Mr Smith. great minds think alike...

wow man thats quite a forest you have going there.....nice job, what a harvest...oh and I love that pic of you with the chain saw hahahaahhaahahahahahaahahaahahahahaha

Hey pit Ive been trying to read through this ever since you stopped by my journal.
its just insane I just realized how many pages are in it and gave up lol.
Ill just follow the recent stuff and look back when I get the time.

Keep it up...

These are the clones we cut 3 weeks ago, our friend bought a tent and we donated a 1K HPS...BioBizz soil and some other magic stuff and her green thumb

Hi Pit, lovely garden you got going on.
You can't drought your plants in a ebb n gro multibucket system lol, it will still suck water from the live well area of the second bucket. This method of bud hardening is best suited for soil and drip grows, not standard hydro where water is always readily available to the plants....

lol..It is possible. The process involves diconnecting the pump. Well really just shut your system down and disconnect your hoses. Its not a really hardening process, Its a proceess not only to flush, but to make the plants use nutes and water that would be stored up otherwise and lost during the drying of the flowers. It will actually help your plants give that extra "push". This "push" is lost when most growers just flush and then run the dark period. Running the lights w/out feeding will bring out stored away nutrients that have been waiting to be used. I raise my lights so that the enviorment isnt to harsh for the tender ladies. But since we hydro users feed so consistently, we dont realize the benifits of a dry period. We always want to feed, feed and feed again. Most people do this "dry" period along with the dark period. Were as you actually want to do the drought period while the lights are on. Its like the foxtailing that goes on late in the flowering period. Your plants use these same principals, the foxtails is a form of that preverbial "push".This foxtailing gives your plants the hope that they can catch some pollen and produce seeds. The exception in the drought process is that it "pushes" the trich count up to catch that pollen, just as the foxtailing does. Hope my explination makes sence. I have alot more research that can back the process up, If you like to see it, just P.M me, that way we dont clog up PITS journal. And nice grow by the way. :bong:

no worries about clogging the journal...that happened about 80 pages ago lol. I have experienced the "foxtailing" and never put much thought into it, ive only seen it on a few plants and didnt pay any mind to it. The explanation makes sense...Ill have to think on that one...the more I grow the more I learn...gimme 5 years and see where we will be.
:yummy:

I was just catching up, on the last 2 days. I've been readin up on the subject for a while now, just didnt really want to get it out there until I knew all aspects of the reasearch as well as doing the procees myself. I definelty must say you are very open-minded. That is one trait that all great growers have, and my friend you have a whole lot of that trait. And I have a feeling in 5 years your grows will be unparalleled.

Hey Pit! 1000, that's awesome. is that a Sun Hut in the pic of the clones?
