I usually just go with 1 liter = 1 quart ...... yeah I know it's wrong. But, it's close and the math is easier for me ..... LOL.

Amelia, those plants are looking great, nice, fat stalks. I used to trip on my tips too, but as long as that plant is looking and growing like yours are I wouldn't worry. I am truly surprised at how long you went without supplemental nutes, i'm thinking hard about that. I think that sometimes the soil producers will overstate how nutritious their soil is ( hot ) to make us think it's the best thing since sliced bread. I put 1" seedlings in soil that they wanted my plants to be 8-12 inches for. They're growing like weeds, never fast enough for me.

Hi Mcloadie. Thanks for the nice compliments on my girls. *smiles* I know what you mean about the length of time they went without nutes because when I read many other's journals, some give from practically seedling stage. I winced at the idea of giving them nutes that young, so I held back, and back, and just waited for any negative signs... I think those pale tips were them finally telling me... "We need nutes, Momma, feed us!" And I have seen these pale tips in many others pictures, so now not fretting at all over those.

I had also already purchased my BioBizz All-Mix and then panicked about it being too hot for them at seedling stage.... well.. no need for me to worry, for these girls, they just took to it straight away. Didn't need the "light Mix" after all Money saved.

OK, so I know a day is only a day, but I thought I would add a few snaps anyway, and explain what's been going on. Keep the journal goin' and growin' LOL....

Today is:

• Day 30 from seed.
• Day 20 of them being in 15Litre pots.
• Day 20 of 600 watt dual spec HPS.
• Day 2 of 12/12.

So I did some more LST'ing today, again, as much as I could. My girls are smelling quite aromatic already. No water today as they had a Litre each yesterday with 1 ml of BioBloom per litre, the water did not run out bottom of pot, I had already measured out the water and nutes, so oh well.

The major thing to mention is that I *think* my girls have pre-flowers. All four, but it's really prominent on the one.

Too cool. My plants make some pretty obvious changes in a 24 hour period. So, the pics aren't too early. Plus the pre-flower porn is great.

Looking good! I think I see some pistils in the last 2 photos but I am unsure. Either way they are looking nice and healthy. Keep up the good work.

I'm not 100% either. They look like they could be preflowers .... but, i'm a new grower .... so don't take my word for it. But, I think they are.

TG I think you are right, I mistook pistils for preflower. Either way.... good sign, I defo got 4 women. LOL

They should all be girls, being feminised, but not 100% I understand. Thanks FC for compliment!

I wouldn't want hermie for my first grow. But, if I happen to get them, I may just let them grow. I'd love to see what would happen if crossing the Maui Wowie with the GDP or LA Kush. Might be pretty tasty. Plus, think of all the fem seeds I'd end up with.


Plus ... I'd still smoke the hell out of it ..... even if it did have seeds.

Hermie pollen makes hermie plants...........kill them for the cause!

I read that a female that hermies makes (genetically) female pollen .... since the plant is female. So, any female plant that is pollinated with the female pollen will produce 95% female seeds. This is what you are buying when they say they are feminized. That's what I read anyway.

So, supposedly 95% of the seeds you get will be female. I could deal with several hundred female seeds to play around with.
