Gonna repot soon yes but I wanted them to get over the shock of Friday first.

We're at the same level at the min sense in soil as well. Didnt go with the biobizz went with the Garden Center supplies 
same as JBC420. i recieved a bottle of superthrive in the post today...thats the first 'specialised' product ive bought and im on my 4th grow.
thats all changing now tho. got h2o2 arriving tommorow and as soon as i know donpaul.p has recovered from his ordeal im about to order BPN 3part full system!
hoping i can use it to finish flowering this current grow and be ready for when i do water tables =)

OK, so only three days after they went thru the wars but they have been in veg under T5 light for almost two weeks now, so on went the big light and I nestled them nicely into their 15 litre pots. The 2 injured ones looked like feck all had happened to be honest, I removed their strings and supports and they just stood proud and loud. I will never handle these things with kid gloves again.

I have LOADS of cannabis made products too many!! That was my problem in the past, too many nutes of too many different companys. Got loads of free stuff from Grow convention, but it's all just in a cupboard now as I replaced with organics. Harder to over fert .
ur light is way too high even for seedlings. lower it by foot minimum. i hae seedlings under 1000w mh that arent that high. they'll get quite stretchy.
She has the light at two different levels in the pictures.
If she lowers it by a foot in the ones closer to the top, the light would be resting on top of the seedlings!
I agree with you if you're referring to the later ones though.
I might push the pots closer together and get them right under the light, though.
Whatever you do... I'm sure it will turn out as good or better than the last one!

oh yeah lol! only noticed pic with higher light. def keep close as poss. if it doesnt burn ur hand it wont burn the plants.

I think the light is too close. I wouldn't have it any closer than 24 inches. But, that's just me. Since it's an enclosed reflective space, you lose no light at all. It's all reflected back in.
I run a 600W in my grow box (pics in my journal) and I leave it attached to the ceiling. I don't even use the rope rachets. I don't have any issues with stretching and there is more than enough light coverage for the entire box. Then, by the time they flower, they are much closer to the light. So, there's just no need for me to lower the lights. And it keeps my temps & humidity much more stable that way.

there is def a need to lower lights. especially when using hps. its prone to stretching without light height so further away it will stretch, maybe our defination of stretch is different. but ive grown ####### of plants in multiple enviroments and closer is 98% time better.
Your both right, mutt doesnt get much stretch because he's using a MH lamp which is blue (spec) keeping nodes tight plus its a small grow space so they are pretty close anyway. Sense is vegging under HPS and HPS for veg will make them stretch if the light is too high.
mh will stretch also if too high. i have plants with 1000w mh only 2' max above plants less than a week old.
Well i suppose if you have a million plants where i have 6 , you'd know.

To answer a couple questions and comments ;-) The pots ARE all close together, the light is 8" above plants. (I did say this in post with pics) Anything different was for photographic purposes.

mutt im afraid im going to have to completely dissagree with you on just about everything you said.
apart from cultivator not reading sense words properly =p, he is right on all counts...and just from a economics point of view. the further away your lighs, the more money you waste...fact.
if your 24 inches away with a 600, even a MH, well your just paying extra pennies for no gain whatsoever.
keep up the good work sense, slow and steady wins the race =D
