My First Jounal

These pics are at the end of week one of the flowering cycle. I topped the plants, but they are not your normal Christmas Tree shaped plant thats that I have grown before, they all have multiple nodes which is good I suppose.

I would be topping the plants now. The stems on some of those look crazy thick already. If you don't start training now you may have to resort to super cropping. As is, you might have to break a few branches/stems.

That last picture...cant tell if that plant has three nodes or just two. But I would cut down the top node at least and start pulling the plants over.

Mate I did top them. It's a 1.2 m x 1.2 m x 2 m tent and I never thought I would start running out of room.

I am going to have to move the pots apart and start bending the plants over. There is an awful amount of sun leaves and I read somewhere on someone else's thread about not trimming them, something about the plants sugars, etc.

Well due to the many nodes, I trimmed just the larger sun leaves today.

I can also see the pistils starting to form, eight days after changing the light schedule.

I had to remove both the capsicum and tomato due to white fly. Sprayed with Pyrethrum as I saw a couple flying around the leaves.

I didn't, I am going blind here. Basically i saw that the first pistils were showing and because it's just a see of green inside the tent I knew I had to let more light to the bottom. I read somewhere that it's unhealthy to take too much off, so I just removed the very large fan leaves from the top and middle.

I thought about LST, but I should of trained the plants when they were younger. The stems are so thick now I would most likely snap them. I will measure the stem next time I water and open the tent.

Well the flowering is going along full speed. You will see by the photos that I have basically no room to bend any of the plants over, so what I am doing is just moving some of the nodes aside to allow light to the base of the plants.

You will also see how small the front right plant plant is compared to the others. It's still healthy just smaller.

Isn't it amazing how you can see progress almost daily?

I hand water mine and only open the tent every two days now, it's always a surprise.

Now I think I was crazy when I was thinking of growing 6 plants.

Check out the difference between the 3rd December and Today.

I really don't think it's as exciting during the flowering cycle, well not until the THC starts oozing anyway.

So the buds are coming along just fine, I can see more and more populating my tent every time I open it (every two days).

The front right plant, the runt of the litter, is getting there, but something must be up. It is smaller and slower than the rest.

Could it be 'Root Bound'???? Maybe if I removed it shook out the roots and transplanted it? Any pointers there?

Looking tasty, Rom. Have you got hopes/ projections for harvest? You have quiiiiite a few nice looking colas happening there.. :wood:

-J.

Mate, I have no idea. Every other plant I have grown have been like Christmas Tree's, where as all of these plants have about six or more nodes, is that the right word, and each of those nodes have quite a few colas on them. I am hoping for a pound and at the moment they have about six weeks left to go. Who knows? What do you think, 4 plants, 1 pound?

The majority I will use for coco capsules and some for vaporising of course.

Maybe my expectations are too high.
