No i just called and said i had found a note on my door and i wasent sure what it was about! They explained that this happens and is something on their end and would be a easy fix. they would just need to check the cable cords and connections and all the rooms with cable in it.
 
That is weird. I can understand your concern. I have never heard of a ballast interfering with communications. I live in a tight subdivision and have never had any complaints while I run both analog/magnetic and digital ballasts.

I run my big light from 6pm to 6am so they would be off during the "cable-guys" visit. THe cable guy just wants to prove to you that there is NOTHING wrong and go home to dinner. If they are over zealous about the call, beware. Otherwise, they will prob replace the neighbor's router/wifi and all is good.

It will all be OK, dude. Grow some bud.

Oh i will trust me on that on. well my room that i was working on is about 95% done just need to hang the door and put the poly and another sub floor. Then of course set everything up. it has been a really rewarding project as i got to learn alot from my mentor in the ways of building. the girls are doing great i will have to keep a eye on the temps tonight s it gets way cooler in the attic.
 
As for LEDs, My closet is 40" x 26" and around 7' tall. I started out with one 100x3 Mars-Hydro Old Model, but it's not QUITE enough to cover the entire area, especially when the lights are closer for flower, so I just ordered a second 100x3 Old Model, which should be plenty for my area.

Just shop around, compare products, prices, journal results, and find a light that works for you. Just make sure it will still cover the area when the light is moved closer during flower and you should be good. And don't fall for those cheap panels on auction sites, there's like no wattage to those things.. usually only 15-30 watts.
 
Antics thanks bro i didnt think about that to check the coverage for flower.

Ok so the cable guy came today they had shut my internet down and had been using my hotspot. anyways came and left the problem was a connection in basemen. what a huge relief. now i can focus again and get things right.
 
Good I was just about to say Solis Tec is pretty high quality and rf interference isn't really a problem any more. Most reputable ballast company's now shield Their wires. car makers used to have similar issues (on smaller scale of course) ignition system noise can transfer to other systems and interfere with electrical signals. The answer was a faraday cage. The most common way to do this and keep things looking clean is to wrap the wires with a not so high-tech metallic tape then insulating it. Glad it all worked out. Hope your mind is at rest now.
 
I just read through the journal that was a major bout of paranoia at the end lol false alarm. For a minuit I though the Germans were invading. Thank fuck it was just the cable guy. :yikes: just like when a helicopter goes over my house and I get diorreah and it gets runnier as it gets closer and eventually builds to a massive anti climax with me having ring sting and cowering behind the sofa. damn you helicopters.

Yes im very relaxed now lol. Solis Tek is top notch and they will always have my business, Tony the rep i talked to was a great help. But so was every one here.

F**k yeah i was paranoid. im just glad that is over with boys. now i can run my equipment without fear. the cable guy was here for like 45 mins fixed the line and was on his way. so you do know the feeling haha.
 
Just got back from the hydro store and spent more than i wanted but i got a great price. Ok got the Advanced Nutes Jungle Juice, micro, grow and bloom. Also got some other stuff check it out if you guys have this too, tell me some advice on it please! I also got the co2 tank filled!

Awesome Journal, I like that you are testing your limitations before allowing the limits to take a effect.
Such as starting from seedlings rather than clones, very impressed. Especially with the care you take when handling your grow - wish I was a little more vigilant in that regard.

When creating a skeleton for your new grow op, ever thought of using a green house and building around it.. Check amazon they have a ton of large Green house.

Def Sub for the journey.

Thanks friend for the kind words. its my first time growing so im extra careful with the girls.

i wish i could use a greenhouse but i cant i have to stay indoors and im trying to figure out how to set it up for a perpetual grow.
