NewBoy420 1st 4x4 Tent Grow - Solis Tek DE 1000 Watts!

IMO, RH is a factor only in extreme conditions. I live in a region where it will soon be 70-100% RH. I have vegged when RH is 20% and lower. I have flowered when it was 70% and higher. Never had a REAL problem that had to be addressed. These plants are very forgiving and adapt well to any environment. Of course some strains/phenos are more sensitive than others, but I've never lost a plant to RH probs. I bought and tried a de-humidifier years ago to run in my crawlspace where I grow. It would pull 2-3 gallons of water out of the air each day but it raised the temp about 10d. Don't use it anymore and the girls still grow. :)

Yes but the point being made is....

If you keep it in the "sweet" zones for different stages of a growth cycle.

You will......

1. Get more rapid/vigorous growth

2. It lessens the chances of nasty diseases and so on.

But yes I totally agree that the plants are amazing and will still grow if kept in conditions outside of the sweet zone. Just maybe not as good or fast.

That's why the people who have the best harvests are the ones with each tiny part of the grow dialled in.

And one of the most overlooked is RH and thats the main reason... Because the plant still grows so why would you be bothered?

Guys i need help! Has any one had a ballast interfere with your neighbors signal or radio? I had a note from the cable company on my door saying that they needed to come in my house to check for this high frequency! Im worried and now if i dont make a app in the next 14 days they will shit my cable off! Any one know how i can reduce the signal my ballast is making?

on the ballast box it says RF blocker. im just worried because they said a high frequency and the ballast is. send it back? it is brand new. is it not supposed to do that? should i contact the people i bought from?

LOL lumatek ballasts have RF jammer? what the hell man thats new to me aswell. I'm running a lumatek one right now.

why would the manufacturer put jammers inside ballasts?

Cause they can emit rf signals. Not sure the exact jargon.

It's more of a shield like a blocker. In 09 they had some issues. I had 2 ballast get all fing weird on me doing some odd shit. Sent back got newer model. Another reason why I love lumatek if you buy new they stand by there shit.

I've noticed in this industry if a company has to advertise a ton then it's usually not that great. I rarely see lumatek or hortilux advertise or sponsor people.

yeah i get what you're saying man, like they don't need to do so and if they do it would look like they need to. Thats smart marketing, let the reputation of the company speak for itself
