No it does happen. Trust me. I have helped on numerous medical grows locally and some got some ballasts and this exact issue arose.

Contact whoever you purchased that from the rf shield could be faulty. And if cable guy comes unplug all grow related items and he will be lost on where to find the source.

I talked to a Solis Tek rep today and let me first say that, their customer service is A+. Not only did they give me ideas and know how to improve my situation, they offered to exchange the ballast. Even thou the warrenty does not cover RF issues they were willing to work with me. Plue they even responded to my call in hours. Im very happy I went with Solis Tek!

I wouldn't bother with the cable, get a dish, that's one reason I moved out of the city, to many idiots want into my house under false pretences, just to sell me a water heater or a thermostat or some BS. They even ignore the no soliciting sign. Make sure it isn't some sales tactic. They can't come in your place if you don't want them to.

Hey guy if i have to go back to the original plan and go with led lights and i was going with Mars 2. What should i get for a 4x4 or 5x5 area? i had thought of getting one Mars 2 1600, but i am unsure. Is one big power full light better than multiple smaller ones? Any Advice i can get from you guys i would really help me make my mind up. Thanks

One decent light with some smaller panels. And maybe some side lighting over one big light any day. Even coverage with lower wattage will always kick single big lights any day on vigour and yield.

But you will still get good results with a big light.

I cant recommend any as I use hid lighting. I'm looking into led just like you. And everyone says the same thing. That even coverage beats big lights.

I would use two 700 watt mars II in a 5x5 tent over one 1600. I have a mars II 700 and 400 in my 4x4 tent and it gets perfect coverage

They said that it is something on their end. And would need to check the rooms with cable boxes to check the connections. Thank god done with the new room, that doesn't have any type of cable wires so there is no need for him to go in there.
