NewBoy420 1st 4x4 Tent Grow - Solis Tek DE 1000 Watts!

Well ever look into grow tents - for instances..
Apollo Tents from Amazon
48x48x80 = 114$ I think for vegging
60'x60'x80' = 144 for flowering
What I have set up in my spare room, 5 plant max when using soil. IMO

I was saying use the a small green house skelleton indoors and use grow mylar with insulation possibly cheaper than wood, and easy set up!
ohh ok bro i see, i have a 4x4 tent right now in the room and it takes alot of space because of the roof pitch. i went a got a bunch of 2x2 and panda film. i was thinking of making two smaller rooms one for veg and flower but as im inexperienced i need help with the room set up.

I'd say go PVC but your using HPS so the toxic fumes could be released if you ever have a high temp issue.
Possibly build one out of a shelving unit, wrap the panda film. Just use the skeleton of it the shelving unit?
Just look for a skeleton that can withstand the weight and you are golden.

i gotta think about hard because i want to do a perpetual grow. so i have to take the light ,vent, into consideration. or i might be over thinking it. first plan was to grow 10 under two lights but i dont want to have to start from seed again. so i want to clone them and need an veg area. i wish i would have built the room a little bigger now

Subscribed NewBoy420, Your journal was a great read with some heavy hitters on here to help you out, very cool. You might want to look up Skybound's journal, he built his two rooms in his attic. He had some tuff things to over come but he was able to chop some fine bud in the end. Also CO Finest made a DIY tent out of PVC pipe, worked great. And yes he has videos.

+reps for your first grow.

Sitting behind the couch sh*tting your pants as the heli goes over head "Priceless". My dog hides with me. ROFLMAO

Thank you boys! tomorrow my grow room will be 95% done finally. Ok here are my girls gave them Jungle Juice today so lets see how they look like in a couple days!

So you get all that Titan stuff set up? You'll be able to run higher temps real soon, perfect for that summer weather

Not yet bro i have to put the floor in the room as im going to put two layers of poly to prevent water damage in case of a spill.

Will i? how much higher will i be able to run my room? heat is starting to become a concern. i mean i am getting a portable ac unit but i really dont want to run it especially since i plan on putting up another 1000w phantom2 light up. alot of power

you got any experience with sealed environment and how to set up a proper venting. i been looking at you tube and seen a couple that will work but since i do plan on having a perpetual grow how would i set the venting up for the two room, i did get a 3x3 tent so now i have two. I could use them but then again how would i use my co2 and my controller for two separate tents or areas.

im starting to think that i might have to abort the perpetual grow, unless i can figure something out.

I've never set one up, but i do know that co2 allows you to run temps into the nineties. I'm sure once the other guys wake up they'll be able to help you with setup and venting.

You can generally run temps into the 90-95 degree F with co2. Every strain has a little different tollerance. Your humidity will raise alot with co2. Up to the point water will drip down your walls. Humidity is good during veg and bad during mid-late stage bloom. With your 4x4 tent it will be tricky to find the comfort zone where you can leave it alone for many hours without having to worry about the temp spiking to high. I would get 2 thermostats one for plant level and one for top area of tent. If you never used the co2 in that setup my best suggestion is to at first do it when your able to check it every hour. If it spike above 100 for to long you will start causing heat stress and any stress delays harvest. I have ran co2 in small tents before with led's. Your 1k watts might be even trickier. With my experience with a high power led light which still puts out alot of heat I could run my co2 for about 4 hours before I would have to open it to let heat out. I would turn off my exhaust fan while I had the co2 running. If my house temp was 75 degrees my tent would get to 95 degrees about 20 degrees hoter then the outside of tent. You will have a real hard time trying to use any type of portable ac with the small tent setup if you plan to try to just cool the inside with a sealed environment. I also found with co2 if your dwelling is small like a small condo or apartment your natural co2 will be 1000+ if you dont keep windows open ect. Just from you breathing. I can walk into a small tent with the co2 at 1000 and if im in there longer then a few minutes it will spike to above 1500. Hope this helps out.
