Have fun in class. You taking a summer break soon?
Yeah, you can bend plants when you want to. As long as nothing snaps off you're golden. I ain't got much going on, just watching plants grow and spending time with my son. Gonna be cool to see you get that stuff set up, and some really good advice from medimike will make it easier
I've been a stay at home dad for 2 years now, and it's the best job I've ever had. Plus, it gives me lots of time with the plants. That's cool that you'll build your own house, i wish i had skills like that.
Hell, if the schooling is free, i don't blame you for jumping on it. That's cool that your old lady can make that kinda money with a degree. My ol lady don't make much at all, but she loves her job a lot, so we just live a more minimalist lifestyle for the time being.
Gonna be cool to see your plant when the branches all turn up and she becomes a beastly bush. I'm sure you'll be getting in some epic grows sooner than you think, especially when you get the environment and co2 dialed in
I've never heard of using a laundry basket, I'll have to look it up later cause it sounds cool.
Alrighty, i found it. That's not a bad idea. Luckily i went and drilled holes on my buckets around the rim, one every half inch or so. But it would be nice to tie them to lower points, makes adjusting them easier i imagine
would the fluorescent be enough power to veg with?
Most people out there veg under fluorescent. People with deep pockets for big bills veg under hid lighting.
I have veg 4 seedling and clones on a single 30w fluorescent untill 1st set of true leaves and then switched to a 100 watt fluorescent. So yes hungaluz is right.
You can easily veg under CFL's just get the right Kelvin or colour temp. 4100k, I used to veg with all cfl's now I use a 400 watt eye hortilux blue, but if I start seeds I will sometimes use a cfl or two if I think they are stretchers.
Good on the trades school, I got a trade as well and I have been making over 6 figures all my life. It is very expensive where I am and I am the bread winner so it all actually turns out to be not a lot to live on. But Peyton is right we are minimalists as well, we really don't need much for true happiness.
