My First Time: AK47 & Gold Bar Kush

Thanks Rad. I couldn't remember where I had anything bookmarked about oil making. I've been thinking about doing it anyway. It's time to try some different ways of administering. I've also been thinking about vaping so I can do it at work without anybody noticing. I'm sure I'll need to find a new atomizer/clearomizer since the ones I have are a couple years old.

Well, well MrGreene...... ready to take cannabinoid therapy seriously, are we? Glad to hear it. :hugs:

Thanks Sue. 2 or 3 evenings a week at bed time just isn't enough. It's time to make ways to get some therapy without all the smell of smoking, although I really enjoy smoking.

I will always enjoy smoking, which reminds me, someone passed me while I was sweeping the front stoop and they were smoking a joint of some decent cannabis. I resolved to have a joint when I finished mopping the stairwells. I'm done, and now I do believe I'll have a nice joint of my own. :cheesygrinsmiley:

That sounds like a great idea. I ended the night last night by reloading two pipes with some AK47 then deciding I was floating/swimmy headed enough and ready to sleep. I'll get one out now and get like that again.

I checked on the two Columbian Gold after work and decided to go ahead and put them in soil. Nothing exciting here yet, but I hope that changes in the coming weeks. I wish I had dropped them a couple days sooner so they could be Halloween babies.

Since the favorite shot glass was still wet I dropped four of the Cinderella Kush seeds in. I'd like to see how they do and it seems like a good backup plan.

I never took down the 32" tent so the lights are still hanging and I had forgot about all that trim. I bet it is enough to fill a 5 gallon bucket. I'm smoking some of it right now and it seems to be relaxing me.

I will get the tent cleaned over the next few days and be thinking about which other one to put up also. All the sprouting seeds will have to move from the bathroom into the tent since tomorrow night is date night.

The last of the Cinderella Kush girls got her head above soil today. I wasn't sure if she was going to sprout since the seed was smaller and lighter colored. One of the Columbian Gold was getting too leggy so I turned on 4 of the cobs that are driven with the meanwell driver, turned it up half way, and repotted all of the girls.

Columbian Gold are on the right middle and rear.

Columbian Gold are now in the azalea pots and Cinderella Kush are in the plastic pots.

They will be on their own for a few days soon. I think I have everything ready for them to be ok without me. I will top up the swick before I leave.

The smoke is much smoother through water :)

It might take a couple of trys to get the water level correct. Try a test inhale (nothing in the bowl) with a water level around the center of those flowers.

If water is too deep, one has to suck really hard. If water is too shallow, the smoke doesn't pass through the water, there is zero resistamce, and you sometimes inhale water.

It looks like the pipe has a 1 & 1/2" / 4cm sized bowl - as in for a hookah.
Most cannabis bowls are smaller than tobacco pipe bowls - much less than an inch (less than 2 cm.)

You won't need to fill a bowl that size :)

Wow! What a difference a few days makes. I got home today from wandering around down south around the gulf and was very pleased to see how much the girls had grown while I was away.

The Columbian Gold girls are each taking a different posture. One looks to be trying to be a tall girl and the other is shorter and wider.

The Cinderella Kush have really taken off and are the larger plants even though they are younger. The exception is the last one but I bet she will catch up soon. She is the seed I didn't expect to grow because it looked way less mature than the rest, and was the last to come up.

They have all been under one flood light and four cobs for the past week at 18/6. I'll give it a few more days before turning on four more cobs. I haven't decided if this tent will have 12 or 16 cobs for flower yet. I'll be checking to see how many I can get on the frame soon and make a decision after that.

I think the Cinderella Kush won't get topped or trained and will get sent to flower early. I'm expecting that each one could fill a 36" tent if I let them grow like their parents. I do plan to top and clone both Columbian Gold and grow them out to be medium sized plants. I also plan to make a lot of seeds from them, hopefully both regular and fem.

I did stop and meet another member and his wife while I was on this trip. They are wonderful people and I really enjoyed visiting with them. Wish I could have planned better and spent more time there. Their plants look amazing and healthy. I was impressed with how dark and glossy the leaves are, and the smell was incredible. Thank you for letting me come by on such short notice, the great conversations, and the generosity.

I'm so pleased you all got to spend time together. The pup loves teaching new humans how to play fetch, or so I hear. :laughtwo:

It's satisfying seeing you growing again. :hugs:

Thanks for the link Rad. I shared it on my journal. :battingeyelashes:

It was a wonderful time for sure.

You would be amazed at how much that puppy loves to play ball. Don't say the word "ball" unless you're ready to play. Lol. It works just like when you have young kids and have to spell the word out so they don't know what you're talking about.

Thanks for the seed contest link Rad. I couldn't decide last night if I should enter the contest since I have these UD and Blue Dream seeds that were gifted to me that I really really want to grow next. The link isn't working today but was last night. Is the contest over already?

The thread is gone - It was in the 420 contests area, which I think is reserved for offical 420 magazine contests, not sponsor contests .
I checked in the 420 sponsors area and don't see anything there. If it were in the wrong area, I'd think the admin would simply move the thread.

Most of the girls have been happy the past few days except for the last Cinderella Kush. She decided she had too much up top. I added some more soil to the pot and I'm sure she will straighten up and be ok in a few hours. I had to do the same to one of the Columbian Gold a week or so ago. The Columbian Gold are still on the right in the front and back in the clay pots. They all seem like they've grown a lot in just a few days.

I'll be putting up a second tent and getting out a few more lights for Thanksgiving. I'm also planning on doing some other cooking then too. A wonderfully joyful and generous lady sent me a MB2e Magical Butter Machine and I'm looking forward to using it. I've been reading all I can about it the past couple days and buying the other needed supplies.

Oh, this AK47 is curing out to be a much smoother smoke and it makes me float up off of this chair. :surf:

Nice looking little girls (now that didn't sound creepy.)

The MB2 recipe book I have kindof hides it in the recipes - DECARB your herb before running a cycle.

Looking good :thumb:

Thanks Rad.

I think they're sexy little girls. Did I just say it in a creepy way? Lol

Herb is in the oven right now decarbing. You are right about it being in the book. I kept looking through what looked like the recipe book and it was in the owners manual. I'd have never known if you hadn't said something. I thought guys aren't supposed to read the owners manual.

I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving feast and enjoyed the company of the people close to them.

I didn't think the girls should be left out, so they shared a feast of a gallon of half strength nutes last night just after midnight. I think they really enjoyed it. They looked bigger this morning.

I spent a while in the kitchen today doing another kind of cooking. All the supplies were here and I was home alone, so I cooked up a batch of oil in the Magical Butter Machine that Sue sent me and filled 609 capsules. I'll put together a longer post soon to document the process that I used.
