My First Time: AK47 & Gold Bar Kush

Thanks Rad. All the other tops seem to have moved up a bit trying to get in the lead.

I'm pretty happy with my lights. I still want to remove the rest of the lenses and replace the two full spectrum cobs with 3000k. I don't see any improvement with the full spectrum and dislike the color. I'll leave the aluminum angle in the corner a while longer until I decide what to do about permanent frames.

How are your lights working out?

I like how they look :) It's a bit to early to tell how plants will grow under them, but I'm thinking it will be very good :)

C99 has recovered from the supercropping. Most of the branches have raised up half way and are supporting themselves.

I've been watching over the mating tent to see if the Cinderella 99 clone could get either of the boys excited. GBK was a typical teenager and lost his load early, and made a mess all over himself and C99. I'm predicting some Cinderella Kush seeds showing up around here in a few weeks. I went ahead and cut him down then put him in the freezer to save the remaining pollen for later. The Columbian Gold Clone hasn't had any problems with premature release yet and I will cut him down for frozen pollen soon.

Nicely done.

Strong recovery to that supercropping, maybe too strong
I doesn't look like you will get buds growing sideways up from horizontal stalks - unless you tie them down or something :)

Columbian Gold ended up having the same kind of problem with getting excited so I cut him down today. He went into a freezer bag and joined the GBK pollen in the freezer. Of course the C99 clone in the mating tent is already showing and looking very plump so I'm sure GBK got the job done.

The C99 in the flower tent has been getting some special attention to her supercropped branches. I've been hanging wire from those branches as weights, and also tying some to lower branches. Starting to see some buds growing up from horizontal branches now. I'll try to get a few pics tomorrow night.

Sounds like you are having fun :)

I am having fun Rad. This is so much easier the second time around that trying a few new things doesn't make me worry. There are plenty of full jars here so I'm not too worried about messing up.

The C99 clone is getting tall and sure looks pregnant.

C99 is responding well. I've been trying to get the supercropped branches horizontal and buds growing up from them.

The smaller C99 clones seem to have taken root and should be ready to go to flower in a few weeks. I didn't get pics of them tonight but there's not much exciting to see with them yet. The GBK clone in the veg tent got heavily pruned and will probably get chopped soon since I have pollen in the freezer now.

Every picture of every stage is exciting. :battingeyelashes:

I'm so impressed with how well you're doing. Having a first harvest takes so much pressure off. Now you can breathe and really enjoy the process. Yes indeed, impressed I am. :bravo:

Thanks so much Sue.:hugs::kisstwo: This does get so much easier after going through it with someone making sure I got it right. I'm starting to understand how you always want to experiment to keep things interesting.

I've been out of town for almost two weeks. Went to the beach for a few days then on a business trip for a week. The flowering girls are looking good and I'll get an update posted as soon as I get caught up around here. The veg girls have the same leaf discoloration that the C99 mother had for a while. It must be normal at that age. I gave them all nutes before the beach and again before the business trip.

I did have some fun on the way home since it was an 11 hour drive. It was chilly in the morning so instead of shorts I decided to wear some shiny black leggings I keep in my bag for those colder northern nights. I stopped at an adult store along the way and bought a black corset. Of course I had the sales lady tie me up in it and took lots of pics. She seemed to really enjoy it. Lol. Even stopping at rest areas and gas stations there were only positive reactions from other people. It was something different and fun to do.

  LOL

I was wondering when you'd be back - and then you come back with a story like that. :woohoo:

I'm trully glad you didn't run into someone who thought they could do a better job running your life than you do

Glad you found something good and fun to do - you must look amazing in a corset!

I wouldn't disappear without having a good story when I come back.

It's usually pretty safe doing that kind of thing. With a wig and makeup the only thing to be worried about is a guy wanting some. It is such a different perspective seeing the world that way. Experiencing it just once will make you want to be more of a gentleman and not stare so much. I've only done that a couple times. The first time was to amuse the ex. We went to a bar and I went through the door first. Everybody froze and was staring at me. That's when I realized how much differently women experience the world.

I finally got a minute to post an update. I think things are mostly taking care of themselves except for repotting some clones, nutes, and water.

The C99 clones in the veg tent are all growing at different rates. Most have fading fans like the mother had. Not sure whats causing it except maybe puberty. GBK male is in the back left and Columbian Gold male is on the left just in front of him.

The pregnant C99 clone seems to be happy in the big tent. There's a lot of frost forming on her.

C99 in the 32" tent has it pretty full. There are plenty of buds up against the walls just outside of the lights. I expected the buds to be more dense by now. They seem pretty fluffy compared to AK. Maybe I should count and see how long I've had her flowering. She does have several of the supercropped branches putting out multiple buds. I really need to find some time to remove all the lower leaves since most of them down low are dead anyway.

I've read that Cinderella 99's big week is week 5. Lots of bud growth and frosty white caps.
The closest I've seen grown here is Bobrown14's Devils Tit (Durban poisin x colombian gold x C99)

It sounds like freaky strong stuff to grow :)

We just finished 5 weeks since I changed the timer if I counted correctly, so maybe we will see some big changes this week or next.

After these two finish, I plan on putting one of the six C99 clones in the breeding tent with a Columbian Gold male to make some seeds. The other 5 C99 will hopefully go in the flower tent.

I'd like to take down the veg tent at that point and start regaining a neater house. I'm thinking about taking down one of the big tents after that and starting to organize the closet with....clothes. Lol. I've been sidetracked from my goal of selling this place this year and need to get back on track. A mountain of clothes baskets in the master bedroom isn't helping. I've been traveling some for work and seeing the ex almost every night that I'm in town. I'm getting motivated to follow through with my plans of moving from this house I've been in for over 25 years and building a simple/rustic apartment inside another property I have. That would sure help to be financially independent and take away a lot of life's pressures.

I pulled seeds from both C99 last night. It looks like pollen made its way out of the sex tent. The good news is that both are starting to bulk up. The mother plant might not have enough strength in her branches to support all the weight. Both plants are getting super frosty and stickier than I would have imagined.

The best kind of grower problem :)
