I've been thinking about C99 tonight. She is a fast grower and has only had nutes a couple times so far and I forgot to water her when she was transplanted. She has lost a dozen fan leaves and has maybe that many more that are yellow. Does she maybe have a deficiency, or is she hungry, or is it just aftershock from forgetting to water? I've been tempted to give her some epsom salts and another dose of nutes, but it seems like the "less is more" thought seems to work out most of the time.
Yellowing and losing the lower fan leaves is common as a plant grows larger- and more common when it is looking for nutrients late in flower.
C99 probably wants more nutrients. I've only added epsom salts when leaves 'taco' not when they yellow.
Well...I've finally got around to visiting some of the grows that I've neglected for weeks.
Congrats on your harvest. I don't have a clue what I was doing on 6/9. It could have been that I partied without knowing about the harvest.
Glad you bought you a nice spoon. I've only broken one and try my best to clean it every now and then.
Clones are easier with a little experience. Kinda like growing...it takes some patience.
Good job with the plants. I'm glad you had a good support group. Radogast and Sue are some of the best.
Cheers
C99 seems a lot happier now and has grown. I think she's as big as she needs to be to fill this 32" tent. I'm thinking about switching her to 12/12 later today.
Columbian Gold is looking good also. I'm thinking about switching her to 12/12 today also so I'll have some room left in the 36" tent for a couple of smaller plants since the veg area is getting pretty full. I need to take some new clones of both pretty soon.
The veg tent is getting full. I'll have to move some to flower soon. Three of them are GBK male clones for pollen later. The back left is probably C99 and Columbian Gold in front of her.
Ak47 was harvested and put in the fridge 14 1/2 days ago. Humidity was down to 39% this morning and the boveda packs should be here today, so I'm planning to weigh her and get her into some jars tonight.
Looking good. Sounds like a plan.
Personally, I would take some largish clones of the tallest branches and then LST your tall branches off to the side to make an even canopy.
Speaking of even canopy, your Columbian Gold looks great. Nicely done.
I'd suggest you train these two up to be the height of your large Columbian Gold and then add them to the large Columbian Gold in flower. You could start the big one first - and she will stretch, but these two smaller girls will be fine joining her in the tent a little later when they are fully ready - the extra couple weeks will be good for a better yeild - well worth keeping the tent half full for another couple of weeks.
There you go being all cutting edge with your lights, cutting edge in your drying technique, and top shelf healthy in your growing. +reps
Nice harvest
Better than I've done this year.
Autoflowers have a way of seeming to start too soon, but then providing a good payoff .
Good harvest !
Thanks Rad.
But you've had multiple harvests that produced consistently.
I was pretty disappointed when we figured out that AK47 was an auto, but it turned out pretty good. Glad you were right here every step of the way to guide me. That means a lot.
It's great to see that you have learned all you can from me and are moving on to learn from the experts around here.
I've tried to follow and advise a few people here. I truly appreciate someone who listens and thinks rather than reacting before they consider the situation.
I managed to cut 7 clones from C99 and filled up the bubble cloner plus 2 small pots that I put in the veg tent with the other C99 clone, Columbian Gold clone, and 2 GBK clones.
. . .
I finished up with a light dose of nutes for most of the plants and making sure the swicks had some water in them.
