I have some sad news. There were some family issues over the weekend and I was told a smell had been noticed a while back. I made the decision to cut all of the plants down rather than risk losing anything. Everything has been hanging a few days and will get put in jars tonight. Hopefully the seeds are mature enough for another run after things calm down.

Aww man total bummer, but glad you were able to be the one to do the cutting, and at least you got something out of the deal. Hope ypu can get back at it pnce things settle down.

Thanks UA. I probably over reacted but it is always better to do that than under react and have problems. The next grow will for sure be more stealth.

Thanks Rad. I filled 9 one quart mason jars last night and a few gallon zip lock bags. Took down two tents also. The third tent has the carbon filter running in it with some more leaves that aren't dry enough yet. The mason jars went into the fridge for a few days to finish drying before I seal them up and hide them. The buzz and energy from handling all the sticky stuff last night was amazing.

I had to look up the movie and the quote. I'll watch it soon.

Safe was needed. After some comments about broken legs, death, and threatening to tell the cops wife about his long time girlfriend (my ex), I thought it best to lay low.

On a positive note I've been cleaning house and have a date tonight with an amazing lady. She's different than I would have normally chased. Colorful tattoos everywhere and blue hair would have normally been a turn off. She has an amazing smile, a brightness in her eyes, and great personality.

I met someone last week at a bar while I was out of town that reminds me of her also. The same kind of inner beauty, brightness in her eyes, hot figure, and lots of tattoos too. She said guys never hit on her.....probably because she scares them. I wasn't scared. We sang karaoke together on stage. Did I mention that I was wearing pink leggings?

If I counted correctly C99 was in flower for 52 days (7 weeks and 3 days) before getting chopped. After spending 5 days hanging then being put in jars in the fridge for 3 days it was time to try a sample. I really really like it. A couple hits and I'm full of energy just like the night she got chopped. A couple more hits and my dexterity and balance isn't very good. One more hit and I went to bed as happy as I've been in years.

Do these seeds look mature? If they are any good we can call them "Cinderella Kush" or "Gold Bar 99". I hope they turn out a lot like C99 since I'm liking the effects and there are a LOT of these seeds.

Those seeds look excllent.

I don't know if homemade seeds need to dry for xx days before planting them. I've always waited a couple of months, but that was for the convenience of the grow

Things have been super busy for me the past couple months. New girlfriend, lots of traveling for work, finishing up rebuilding a totaled car for one of my daughters, clearing out a house of a family members estate that is a days drive away, etc.


I think things will be slowing down enough soon to start another grow. I'm wanting to grow Columbian Gold and try for a female this time.

I think I'm ready to drop a seed or two. I've been searching for ways to promote getting a female. I've seen high nitrogen in Veg is supposed to help. Banana peels in a bag with the seed for two weeks is supposed to help also. I think I read last year that cooler temperatures early in the seedlings life will help promote a female also. I'm trying to decide if I need to do anything or just drop a seed or two.

I've also heard to first 3 weeks is the critical period - and NOT to let the seedlings dry out for the first 3 weeks. I'm not talking soggy, but my tendency to wait for 3-4 weeks after planting to water again apparently promotes maleness. (as does heat)

I got out the seeds today, picked two Columbian Gold, and put them in the favorite shot glass to go skinny dipping. This closeness looks promising as long as they are either lesbians or a straight couple.

Now it's time to play the waiting game.

I've been so busy the past couple months that I haven't taken the time to burp my stash. I saw SweetSue mention mold on her thread and that motivated me to let the jars air out for a half hour. I found one jar of C99 that had a couple small spots of mold starting so I cut them out and put them in the trash. It was only about two bowls worth, so I think I caught it in time. I'll be smoking the rest of that jar first.

I think I caught a small buzz from just sniffing all those jars.


Also, the two Columbian Gold seeds have sunk and cracked. There is just the tip of the tail starting to show so they will be going into soil in a few hours.

Never made oil so couldnt tell do some research for shur but i cought it on some my last grow wife looked it up n i just threw hole infected meds..

Making into oil would be safest - and probably fun


For the quick wash process, this method sounded among the easiest and can be done as a small batch.

I would finish by decarbing / evaporating with a small rice cooker outside (alcohol vapor is not what you want trapped inside your house - potentially explosive!)

- I haven't done this, but I plan to do this exact method if ever get a spare 1/4 oz.

I know some folks who evaporate on the dashboard or rear window of a car, but I suspect their cars are on blocks
