Mutt's 2nd Organic Grow - Soil - TGA Genetics

re: Mutt's 2nd Organic Grow - Soil - TGA Genetics

whats your tincture method Mutt?

dry ice is simple. get about 5 lbs dry ice. put some trim in about a 2 gl size plastic container and add the dry ice. put that 110 screen over the top of it and secure it good. swirl it around a bit then turn it over and start shaking and you will be amazed how much comes out.

I bet you could even use the left over trim again for more alcohol extraction.

re: Mutt's 2nd Organic Grow - Soil - TGA Genetics

I take my trim and dry it really well. Then break it up pretty small. I then pack it into a 1/2 gallon mason jar. I fill the jar with trim to the top. Then pour in 190 proof everclear and fill it to the top. Then, I put it into the cupboard and let it sit for a month. I shake it now and then. I haven't made a batch yet (still soaking). So, I can't tell you how good it is. If it's too weak, i'm going to boil off some of the alcohol and then try it again. I also plan on taking some of the tincture and boil it off and make some RSO.

I'm thinking of adding some cinnamin schnapps for flavor.

re: Mutt's 2nd Organic Grow - Soil - TGA Genetics

I'm not a big fan of edibles. They vary so much. I've only had a couple edbles that I would consider strong enough. And, they can be unpredictable. But, I find that tincture and RSO is usually pretty constant. Plus, you can add RSO to any recipe and cook it with literally anything and it tends to be much stronger than cannabutter.

Actaully, they are having a Top Chef kind of medicated cooking competition in Colorado. I'd watch it if they put it on TV.

Checked on the girls today. They are looking fine. Everything is green and happy. I'll be watering and feeding them tomorrow. I may post up some pics ..... but there's nothing really new to see. I do have to say I'm impressed with the Nurse Jackie seedlings. I thought i'd lose them. But, they really turned around and are doubled in size.

re: Mutt's 2nd Organic Grow - Soil - TGA Genetics

Yep ..... i just wish I knew the sex of the 5 seedlings. I'd like to know if I need to drop another 5 pack or not.

re: Mutt's 2nd Organic Grow - Soil - TGA Genetics

The problem is ...... I need to keep my plant count 15 or below to stay legal. So, I have to wait to see how many are male ... kill them ... then pop some more. Otherwise I get up over my plant count. It would be way too easy to just ignore my plant count. But, then I am just asking for trouble. Why risk a good thing.

I'll be feeding and watering later today. I'll post up some new pics after I get them all watered.

Day 2 of Flower

5 Ripped Bubba 1 Jillybean

Here's a look at the girls today. I gave them each a gallon of water and some BPN nutes. I water them every 4 days and feed them each time. I may have to cut back to 3/4 gallon since I got too much run off today.

And here's a look at the little girls and the babies. I gave each of the vegging girls a half gallon and a light dose of nutes. They are doing great. And the seedlings are really looking good. They still have yellowy and dotted leaves from the mite attack. But, all the grow is green and fresh. And, they are currently enjoying a nice growth spurt. I have high hopes for these little ones.

Well that's all there is for today. I wish I had more to tell you about the girls. But, they are just doing thier thing and looking nice.

I do want to show you guys what I've been up too lately.

I went to the Subcool School of Dank last November. I made some friend there and everybody has been a great help with my growing. And, everyone involved in the School of Dank went above and beyond helping kids with autism. So, I figured I may be able to give a little back. So, a couple of us got together and procurred a Metal Can from Mr. Irvin Rosenfeld and a signed book. It arrived last night and I wanted to show you guys. The book and can will be raffled off by the School of Dank to raise money for these autistic kids. But, here's a look at the can and the book.

Mr Irvin Rosenfeld is one of a very few people that recieves his cannabis from the US Government. The can I am referring too is what they send him his pre-rolled joints in. Is that cool or what.

Yeah ... it was a stroke of luck that I got ahold of that can. Won't really get into details. We are letting the guys that run the School of Dank figure out how best to raffle it. Probably sell tickets at Hempfest and several of the other cannabis events around here. Should bring in a good chunk of change for the autistic kids it's intended for.

Looks like I beat the bugs (for now). Haven't seen anything what so ever since I started the Soap and SNS 209 treatment. Now I'll just treat once a week.

re: Mutt's 2nd Organic Grow - Soil - TGA Genetics

Yeah .... I noticed that too ..... LOL. It'll be fine in a year .... LOL

re: Mutt's 2nd Organic Grow - Soil - TGA Genetics

Too bad you guys all live so far away. Meeting up with some of the other local boys at the Tacoma Farmers Market on Sunday. It's a great place, you can donate for meds from other patients and there is also an area where you can medicate ..... fun place to spend a few hours in the afternoon. Skunk Magazine and Cannabis Now Magazine will be there this Sunday.
