Is this leaf septoria? If so, what should I do?

Oh, and I didn't take any clones. As I was making sure to trim away anything that I thought was unhealthy and could trigger a mold episode I decided I didn't want to clone a plant knowing it would have septoria and knowing the additional work I would be signing up for. Next year I will probably stick to growing Sour Diesels outside or do more research to find strains that are more mold and fungus resistive. Also, spray with fungicide as a preventative measure instead of as a reactive approach next year.

If you're going to buying seeds for next season it might be worth looking at varieties that have short flowering periods listed in their specs (8 weeks or less, or September if they give a harvest month). And turn off and tape the circuit for that outdoor light on June 21st!
The Sour Diesel and Green Crack are supposed to be 60-day flower period. One of my Green Crack plants look like it will be ready very soon but the rest defiantly need more time. The Sour Diesels still have some white pistols. The one that looks like it is almost ready is my tallest plant but had the least amount of vegetative growth. I burnt my plants with neem oil. It took me a while to figure out the reason the leaves weren't really growing back on that one was because it had just enough N to that it wasn't showing obvious signs of a deficiency but not enough N to help it regrow the leaves and bud sights. By the time I figured it out it was time to transition to flower. Even with topping that plant it is over 6ft tall and covered in small buds. I figure all the buds should be really good because they all are able to receive great light because there are no leaves shading them...but I am guessing because the buds are so small that is the reason it is ripening faster than the other Green Crack plant I have.

Hopefully we are not living here come next summer. But if we are the person responsible for constantly turning the light on is no longer around so hopefully it won't be a problem.

All the experience you now have with so many different problems. So hubby is building the greenhouse at the new house? 😆
I am going to be honest.....I am exhausted from all these problems and they have taken up more of my time than I could have ever imagined. I know all these problems are not typical and a lot of them would have probably been avoided with more experience. Next year I will probably only do 2 or 3 outside plants and with applying everything I learned this year hopefully it goes way more smoothly. If not, there may not be a 3rd year of outdoor growing.

My Sour Diesel......check out those pretty colors!

My Green Crack that I mentioned was almost ready for harvest.

At what point do I need to become concerned about the outside temps? It's my understanding that as long as the daytime temps stay above 50 everything will be fine. Once the temps drop below 50 photosynthesis stops but since the sun isn't out at night anyway it doesn't really matter so much about the nighttime temps. The past couple weeks the temps have been in the upper 70s, lower 80s during the day and low 50s, high 40s at night. I just checked the 10 day forecast and it looks like we are getting a 10 degree drop in both daytime and nighttime temps. There are a couple of nights next week that the temp will drop into the 30s. One night it is supposed to drop to 34 which is almost freezing.

Will a few hours of nighttime temps close to freezing be okay? The daytime temps are supposed to be in the upper 60s-lower 70s.
Frost is what really needs to be avoided at all costs. I always protect with tent, tarp, moving blankets etc when temps get below 40f or so to be safe

This morning when I was leaving I was greeted by a very cute, young buck. I see deer all the time further down our driveway and in our neighbors field but I have never seen one so close to our house before. Our house is a busy house and all the foot traffic normally deters them from actually coming into our yard. This buck was probably 15ft from my front porch and was not the least bothered by us. I have heard tales of deers eating plants and since this one is not bothered by our appearance I was wondering if there was anything I could put down that would deter them from my plants.

a line of steady gunfire is effective. often results in delicious deer steak, jerky, and sausage ...

I know there are companion plants that are supposed to help deter animals but I am not going to go buy any plants at this point. My husband said he has been seeing the little guy around for a week now. Maybe we should just start going out of our way to scare him? Maybe that will give him a chance to survive hunting season.......because if he doesn't wise up he is going to be easy pickings.

I started a new thread about curing. I thought I would post the link over here in case anyone wanted to check it out.
