Ah well its hit the skids and gone careering off the road.

Courtz was euthanased at my trembling hand.

Im sad, but relieved. The guilt was too much. I dont want canna grows to upset the wife. If she discovered it after putting her foot down to wait it would be a long road back.

I want to say the lesson here is dont lie to your spouse, but its not.

Im flushed with enthusiasm though, the tent was great, the light was great, and the genetics gave me a tantalising glimpse of what might be. Obviously they can take a bit more tough love than I had come to believe.

I did uppot her yesterday arvo, she was courageous in her recovery, didnt miss a beat.

Her roots were impressive.

Now to hurry up and wait........

Right, well, that was actually faster than I thought ha!

Mrs DV8 has green lighted a grow, but Ive had to compromise.

Jay has all my autos except the 4 Barneys freebies on hand, and 1 @Trala sent me for a comparative grow. That last one will have to wait for the shed (and my turn for a side by side lol!).

If the choice is use Barneys or wait for shed and photoperiods, Barneys Autos it is.

So I will start with

1 x Gorilla Zkittles & 1x Critical Kush.

I have one more of each. Just went in for a 24hr dip.

If they come good, which Im sure they will, Ill gather some names, and link an auto journal, tags, updates etc.

Im hopeless with the autos so far.....but lets see if that cant be turned around.

Ive looked in regularly on a number of people impressed greatly by their Plant OTM and Photo OTM auto entries, see how much (if anything!) has been learnt.

Well at the very least your seeds see early if they give you even the slightest hiccup your trembling hand will choke em like a chicken.

Sorry I missed the birth, then murder death, then possibility of birth again.

And bruv, while I’m totes pro abortion and am a vocal advocate for woman's right to choose. Theres is a window for that choice. You can’t choke the baby once hit hits the bassinet. Once it’s head hangs out the birth canal, it’s a keeper. Unless it’s a boy. If it’s a boy choke that chicken like you’ve never choked it before.

Well the Barneys Critical Kush is just peeking through with a tiny tail,

the Zkittles still not there, but Im pretty sure by morning (+12 hours) they will both be good for putting in dirt.

Always get super excited at this stage.

Its ok, sure Ill come across as obsessive, but the girls are in dirt.

Im hoping a mini greenhouse in greenhouse is enough.....but its a shitty overcast day.

I really was gonna use the clone tent again but the wife shot me that look.....OK, so greenhouse it is lol.

Im trying seedling plugs out, within seedling mix. Basically the whole thing is an experiment so lets go with the hydro guys suggestion of plugs.

Temps are getting close though.

Deeve: I’m just gonna keep my grow simple.

Also Deeve: so first I’m gonna put my seed in a brown soil puck thing, put that in a pot with soil, then I’m gonna pop that in a tiny greenhouse carry case, and then I’m gonna build an actual greenhouse to put my greenhouse carry case in. Simple.

Well, Im gonna say might be in trouble here.

I nursed the girls through last nights low temps down to 2C, (thats like a warm day in the snow for those that are stuck on imperial),

And took them out once the greenhouse got around 16c, about 9.30 am.

Got home tonight after running deep on the job.

First bad news. Cpl hours at 9C tonight. Thats not so bad. Then I checked my daily max. 42c (near 100 in old scale).

Had it vented, but thats obviously way over the red zone. I ran out of time for auto openers install. Bit mad at myself now.

Everything else looked ok in there, and I did water the seeds this morning but fair chance they got cooked. Like 85 to 90% sure.

About the same amount of sure Mrs DV8 wont open vents for me during the day haha.

Ill keep an eye, but in my heart I reckon its over.

Don't lose hope Deev. These things sprout in the middle of nowhere, in insane conditions. I bet the sun beats down on them hotter than that? Hopefully they will be fine

Well Im coming into 2022. I went looking for a digital timer.

And I found one that through an app you can turn on and off remotely, and set a schedule.

It will also monitor the energy use in units!

I gave it a trial tonight, seems to work a charm.

You can also add units identified individually, but I have no idea how many. I feel like a god.

Or Homer Simpson.

And for $30 Aud, which is about 9c in American dollars.

1 camera away from a near remote controlled system. The tech I have suits me, not too complicated, but works. Cant wait to try tent grows.
