Exactly! You're just trying to reduce the amount until you find that sweet spot. Once you start the new feeding, we'll be looking at new growth for signs of improvement.

That's why you always start at 1/4 strength as you pretty much did. You seen the signs early and now can adjust.

Thanks for that I'm a little colour blind so I was not sure if I was seeing things or what. Or if it could have been too much light.

Ya I tend to top mine up after a few weeks, but your plants are pretty short so I probably wouldn't do that. I don't think it's going to compact much more, if any.
You don't want to force it in there. All soil should be compacted lightly when filling, but too much and the roots have a hard time growing. So compaction is a normal occurrence.

Next weekend will be the one month mark. How long should I veg. I don't wanna wait too long but again I don't wanna rush it. Is a month and a half good or two months?
You can veg as long as you like. You are calculating head space for the flip. Sativas can stretch up to 3 times the plant size, where indicas can double up in size during stretch.

Lol like I know they have been growing because I can see the change in the photos but they still seem short lol like I am causing them to be dwarfed or something... I watch plenty of other grows and they always seem like bushes by now... not complain too much tho seeing how I have a height constraints. Just wanna be able to get an ounce off each
For the most part the plant grows with changes in light height. You have a pretty strong LED in there for four sqft. If you were to use the general method of 35-50W/sqft you would only require a 200W light at the high end of 50w/sqft.
LEDS don't draw what they say, but they still burn plants or stunt growth when too low. If you drop to lower watt lights your plants will stretch as you raise and lower the lights. Right now you are forced to keep them high since you overhead is only 4'.

So maybe I should use the 300w Mars hydro light? Or just leave this one up to keep them short. Am at a loss on what step I should take to make them the best they can be.

..... looking through photos of my girls I think I'll stick with the 600w from the change I see in 7 days from March 18 until now of the critical purple kush seems really good. I should record the height to really nail down the growth. But I would say it grew like 2 inches in 7 days.
You will get the plants to stretch out once you flip. So, put the light at it's highest point and measure from the canopy to the bottom of the light.
Measure the plant and calculate for three times it's size to be safe. Add the light height, say 24". That difference will be how high you can grow the plants before you flip, unless you scrog or lst.
So as the plant stretches, it's gonna get closer to the light, which you have to watch at 600W

So,roughing the numbers. If the highest the light can go is 12" from the top, you now have 36" of light space to the floor. Take off 24" because the light any lower may burn or bleach the leaves, you now have 12" from the floor. Add the pot height and plant height and you may already be out of room for stretching.

Hahaha well lst and scrog is going to be my friend I guess only have about 10 inches or less left from canopy before I hit 12 inches from the light. Tallest plant in about 6 inches and the two small ones are under 5 inches.

They seem to be drinking a lot and did some defoliation on GSC and lst on them. I don't think I took too much off GSC..

I would think that leaf is just a genetic or mutant thing. It looks healthy, just grew weird.

It happened to a few of them not too worried about it. But ya looking good the auxiliary shoots have auxiliary shoots now. I hope in a months time I can put them in flower.

It's getting close to 4/20 don't think this grow will be ready for it unfortunately. I will still be partying hard anyways hope everyone else has a fun time. Also I have been keeping an eye out on 4/20 sales really hope @SeedsMan will be having a good one. Could use a nice stock pile of seeds to chose from.
