Dragoond2's Soil Girl Scout Crack & Others Grow Journal 2019

I think I was a bit more concerned about light intensity in the early weeks and some about height not wanting the lower leaves touching the soil or hold on to moisture by have lower leaves stacked so close together. I got a small fan on them but I did add a humidifier now I do worry about mold. Thanks for all the likes @Preston9mm my phone was blowing up. :)
I "like" a bunch as I'm reading along to mark my spot. It helps me find where I left off as I follow along.

I'll try to help where I can. I'm not quite as technical as some of the growers around here, but you can bet I've probably made every possible mistake over the years.

My Temple of Bloom journal has been running from the beginning. LoL, some of the early posts are cringeworthy! :thedoubletake:

But.... I've learned from all those blunders and proudly share the stories. LoL

I'll be around, holler if ya need... I'm generally just lurking in the background.
:snowboating:

Hey, finally made it! See... you got Preston here already. :ciao:

So Beez has been taking care of you great lately by the looks of things! I agree it looked like a lot of water but maybe they were just watered before the pics were taken, idk.
So I know this is ridiculous of me but after a week and some growth with the 300w Mars hydro light I changed back to the 600w vivosun at 17 inch from canopy.
The droop to me is that the light's too low. But as Preston mentioned, you're limited in top space. Swap the light back to 300 for veg and 600 after stretch. To me you need a bit of stretch right now so lift the lights a bit. You can control the stretch since they are photos. No need to rush the flip.

So like I had said third grow and I'm not feeling to impressed by ffof soil. I find what looks to me like mulch and twigs it doesn't seem to be fully composted. Has anyone else noticed this or did I get a bad bag?
The FFOF is a great soil. I've used many bags and haven't had a problem. It's Ocean Forest, so lots of forest goodies in it. If it's smells like really rich forest smelling stuff it's fine. If it's not composted I would imagine it would have an off smell to it.
You added 25% perlite, which has taken away the properties of the drainage of FFOF. It is pre-built with enough perlite to keep great drainage throughout the grow. You would have been better to add 5% perlite to a sea compost, mix it up, then drop in the bottom of the pot before adding FFOF.

You were stating on my thread you didn't really know what to write in your journal. Helpful things are the amount of water you gave, the pH of the water, any changes you made to the environment, the RH and temps... all these things can be put at the top of your post whenever you do a progress update.
Pictures you already know we love.

Another item to fix on your journal. At the top of the page, under your title, and beside your member name, is what looks like a tag. If you click on it you can add words that relate to this grow. So when someone does a search say on GSC, and you have GSC in your tags up top, they'll most likely see your journal.

Good luck with the temps. If they are responding well I wouldn't worry too much, just look for any odd changes all of a sudden. Some plants are not bothered by higher temps.

So feed the baby's some nutes 1ml of each of week 2 minus the black diamond and started some lst on the girl scout crack. Also raised lights a few inches trying to get temps stable and I have noticed that the higher they are the lower my temps go. Now on to the photos. :)
