Dragoond2's Soil Girl Scout Crack & Others Grow Journal 2019

So the girls are stretching and the amount of pistils is increasing looking good all thing considered so nute burn still trying to fine tune dosing but I think the problem is with me using tap water so my ppms are more than likely starting high. I am going to use distilled water soon to see if that fixes it. Photos from the 25th of April

PPM /EC pens are less likely to break unless dropped. I'm sure plenty of people will give you advice on which one to buy, but I have had good success with the

CAMWAY Digital TDS Tester Pen Portable Water Quality TDS EC Temperature Purity Meter Temp PPM Test Filter Kit 0-9990 ppm 4 Display Modes ppm, Μs/cm, °F, °C -Easy to See

Sorry, I just copied and pasted the text above from zon. It cost me under 17 CDN at the time.

Typically you can't go wrong with a PPM pen. Keep it clean and in a safe place and it should last you a long time.

Watered last night with half strength nutes everything is looking fine to me. Its getting harder to do individual pics so here is a group pic and one side shoot to show height.

So got a tds meter in and some calibration fluid 342 and 1000 ppm if I calibrated to 342 it's off by -142 on the 1000 ppm and if I do it to 1000 it's off by like +75. So idk what to do... I just calibrated to the 342 hope I don't needs to by a new one. Anyways I have been trying to find out what ppm for flowering. Oh and my tab is about 200 ppm don't know if the is a big deal or not. Anyones thoughts and advice would help. Thanks

Here's a reference chart for where you want to be. Stick to the lower values of each stage until you see how your plant responds.
I've never calibrated mine before. I just put it in distilled water and if it reads zero I trust it's correct higher up in the readings.

End of the 3rd week in flower and everything is looking way better than past grows the critical purple kush is looking amazing while the girl scout crack is doing it best to keep up with the critical purple kush. Lemonchello haze looking good not use to sativa so not sure on anything with its bud formation but none the less it looks good to me.

Hey everyone sorry I have not updated in a while but not much going on it's been a rather uneventful grow. I feed the lady's Sunday night and meant to post an update but I'm glad I waited. Monday night when I checked on them the buds seemed to me to have doubled in size it's making me excited. Anyways feed full strength nutes ppm reading was ~650 I'm not sure how much I trust the meter but at least I know in general where I am.

The critical purple kush is looking amazing and is the front runner in the group. While girl scout crack and lemonchello haze are about even to me but still looking really good.

Update week 5 of flower.

Not much going on still just feed ~850 ppm this morning.

12 hours after watering/feeding

During flower it's the opposite when it comes to watering. You want them to be sucking up all that liquid all the time. This is where the girls are using the most energy to produce those delicious buds. If you are watering every three days, switch to two. Less water but you don't want them wilting during this stage.

How do I know when to start the flush? I hear it's a 2 week process but how do I tell when to start? What's the down side of starting too late or too early? I haven't been noticing any changes lately in the size or shape of the buds. I have been checking the trics with a jeweler's loop I am not 100% sure on how they are supposed to look but I notice cloudy and clear trics no amber yet. Thanks
