Conradino23 Keeps On Keeping On Outdoor & Indoor Using LOS/High Brix Methods

I have seen some autos get grown outside that turned into monsters. I think the key is directly planting into the ground from seed. No planting in any pots and then transplanting them. I saw an auto one of the members on here grew that was probably 2.5 feet tall and 3 feet around and it was nothing but donkey dong colas. I wish I remembered which one it was. I had my best luck with my first batch of autos which was a mixed array of autos from 3 or 4 different breeders. I averaged about 3-4 ozs per plant.

wow 5 grams that's even less than my 7 gram all time low for an auto,if you want to grow them in the ground and want them to get bigger theres the super autos they get big and take longer to but they would still be done before foul weather,i generally get 1/2-1 oz per plant sometimes those little 20inchers can have an oz of bud on them when you get lucky lol,btw I think most of them look very similar most of them have that rudarelis in em most of my auto buds are leafy!:)

I don't know, man. It seems this auto business is going through a lot of lines to find the right one first. But I have a lot of seeds, so I'll keep popping until I don't have any :)

It might be the way to go, but I think genetics is still the key. If something has a capped size, it's gonna be difficult to push it over the limit. I saw some real monster too, but these were mostly hydro plants grown on 24/0. Otherwise it's back to the square one, so looking for a line that will be above average or wishing a luck will find you :)

Brings me back to your earlier journals when I could only read about growing!
Yeah lazyfish! Me too! I used to follow the early (first?) sunny spot journal years ago as a lurker :) Have been visiting C’s journls since, for the scenery.

Nice fake plants you have there C.

Its a thing with autos - never transplant, top at or before 21 days and feed ‘low’ (like half strength). That no transplant thing is a strong consensus among anyone who grows autos really well. They have no time for recovery or adjustment. Start them in their finish (s)pot and see if there’s a difference - i reckon there will be...

So nice to see those beautiful young plants lapping up the sunshine out on the balcony... its one of my favourite views on the forum :rollit:

Yes genetics are key. the one I am talking about was grown outside under the sun directly in the ground. I have heard the trans siberian is a real heavy producer but have no idea how the smoke is. I think Stage grew some Auto Sour Diesel from HSO and had some good luck too.

I'd have to go and outplant them as soon as I see a sprout... maybe I'm gonna do that.

I grow directly in the ground, but I thought they'll actually get crazy once they feel they have unlimited root space and it just wasn't the case, so the culprit is the photoperiod.

I was growing them super autos awhile back,, I grew them in pots. 15-gallon pot and she got over 10' tall. You know that tap root hit bottom,,, when that plant was 2' tall. Sure having alot of room for roots to run always makes for a happier plant, and generally, they grow larger and more aggressive. I don't like doing anything that will slow a plant down in anyway shape or fourm... But I don't think that what tells a auto flower to flower. Maybe contribute abit. I think the length of the days contributes too. I mean if you put a plant out and all she's getting is 12 hours or even less,,, I think that might help start an earlier flower. I think this because only a small part of the genetics in an auto flower are Ruderalis, and the bulk is Indica or Sativa. So my theory keeps the sucker under 20 hours a day if inside. And plant outside around the middle of May, or 1st of June,,, for end of July, middle August harvests during peak sun.

I'll try a quick transplant. We'll see how that goes.

Hmm smoking this SSSDH from @ilikem sticky and I really like it. Sativish, but not a real sativa :) The high is great though :smokin:

I like that one to enough that I want to grow it again as well as the m2 supposedly theres a pheno of m2 that finishes later that has quite a bit more potency, but rite now the sssdh is more powerful different high though most days I start out with m2 and then after while ill hit up some sssdh basically as the day goes on I step up in power until the evening then its some aurora or something like that to put me to sleep,i think this spk is going to be an evening weed for me don't no yet!:)

I like it better than M2, which is practically an evening weed for me :smokin: But I don't really have any heavy indica atm :)

mmm the m2 can be toked any time it has a relaxation side to it for sure, theres two different pnenos you have there i forgot to say lol, vaping some ud#2 rite now its just dried no cure im going to try and report a bit about it.first off its not as potent as #1it has some of the same flavors but with a little menthol or something and a little floral note to it,it is also relaxing so far as I said theres no cure so everything is likely going to change then I will do a proper report lol!:)

Holy crap you guys this is so special to me right now. Growin' your seeds and smoking your weed. Blows my mind. It's interesting I thought the M2 was very sativaish and very daytime. Con says otherwise... funny it's almost like I'm sitting there right with you guys and smokin'

Cheers,

It all depends what you've been smoking and what you're used to IMO. Beacuse I've grown and smoked a lot of pure sativas for the last couple of years, it's hard to convince me that something is a sativa, cause they slapped a label on it in a dispensary. If I feel Afghani in high, it's not a sativa for me. Sativas are clear-headed, uplifting, often zippy and there's no body high at all, which is why a lot of young smokers cannot grasp them. But I'll appreciate any bud, which stands out!

I've got a friend that's been smoking for 40 years and he sometimes thinks he didn't get a buzz off some of my pure sativas. He was amazed at all that he got done around his apartment though. :D you're right Con. If it doesn't have a body buzz some people just don't understand it.

You got that right!

Yeah some just push you to do some exercise... sadhus in India smoke and practise yoga, which is normal if you understand what they smoke :)
