But also I just noticed I only see a tiny slab of foam under the tent. You need about triple that amount of foam minimum! This may be your chronic low soil energy problem.

DOH, looks like about the same amount of foam I have under my tents, will add a couple layers or more.

Awesome Ween, should really make a difference with your grow. Even a small difference in temperature between the pots and floor. It's like how you never feel warm in a house during the winter because the cold walls and windows suck the heat from your body. The floor is such a big heatsink that it continually sucks out the soil energy.

No way? It's 1/2" of Dow foam on wood on a slab. I thought that was going to be plenty. So you say go for about an inch and a half? It's not in the cards for me to put any more foam under the tent, would it be just as well putting it on the floor inside the tent?

cinder blocks, milk crate, wooden pallets(TY Major?;)), strong totes, etc..anything to elevate the container

I've used a tote filled with leftover cooked soil under the same tote filled with still cooking soil. worked great..
 
I will definitely get at least one more piece to throw down in both tents. That would actually make sense. In bloom when I water I put the plants up on thin boards to get air circulation underneath, so that might explain why bloom is so much better than veg.

I am feeling better about growing day by day. I think I was bringing veg watering techniques over into flowering and stunting production a bit. Now I am watering sooner and believe I am seeing a visible difference in the size of the buds. I am a bit of a slow learner, but I think I am getting it down.

Been thinking lately and to comfortably grow the amount of cannabis I want to grow, I need to step my flower area up to 4'x8' and my veg up to 4'x4'. Right now I just don't have anywhere to expand to. The good news is that my living situation will be changing hopefully within the next 6 months and I am thinking I will be able to have a workshop in which I can grow. Maybe not right away, in which case I will have more room inside the house to grow, so that should be good. Although it is far off I am happy to think what the future holds for my little grow.
 
Alright Shig, I took your advice and got a 3/4" layer of foam insulation down. I really hope that's my issue, because I am having a tough time in veg. They make it through, but they are always light despite Rescue Drench and De-Stress. If that's the issue then I will be so happy. I have another layer I can throw down in each tent if I need.

Purple XJ x Cali Dreamin #2 is looking good. Just a few orange pistils, and bulking up nicely.

The veg tent is full of Dusted Bud girls, I have Lemon Venom #1-#4, both #1 and #2 are verified female, #3 and #4 aren't showing sex yet. #1 and #2 are in 5 gallon pots, recently transplanted. I need them to lay down some roots in those pots so I can fill up that empty space in the bloom tent. Then there is the clone I took from Purple XJ x Cali Dreamin #3, another confirmed female. I also have two testers going right now, Fluffhead x Milk n Cookies, both smaller plants in Solo sized pots. I am dropping two more Fluffhead x Milk n Cookies beans before planting a couple of mainstream strains and then I get to bust into the Dusted Bud beans that I purchased a little while ago. Really excited to try out the Scarlet Cookies, but I have also been told that Super Sour Lime OG is going to be a strain to beat.
 
Purple XJ x Cali Dreamin #2 is really getting heavy! I had to use some garden ties in an attempt to get her to straighten up a bit. I think at this point she is going to have to be watered where she stands in the tent. Bulking up really nicely, really spread out in the tent. I just hope she makes it to the end without completely collapsing.
 
Purple XJ x Cali Dreamin #2 is getting heavier by the day! Lower flowers are showing orange pistils but the uppers are still almost all white pistils. I expected those pistils to turn by now, so not sure what's going on. She is gobbling up fans as we speak, so she should be ready to come down shortly.

Lemon Venom #1 hit the bloom tent 4 days ago. I forgot to trim her up, so today I gave her a nice defoliation and she is looking right for bloom.

They sometimes have waves of growth towards the latter part of bloom. I'll be you don't have any amber triches....they'll just get heavier.
 
It's not really a wave because maybe 10% of the pistils have turned orange, the originals are still mostly white and there appears to be new ones. A little freak indeed, but she is about a week shy of 2 months 12/12.

next time maybe do 11/13 on the photoperiod?
 
I might have to try that. We will see what happens with this Purple XJ x Cali Dreamin plant. I could start lowering the light cycle 15 minutes at a time until I get to 11/13.

experiment..stuff happens differently with different light schedules..

I ran Panama, normal light ---> 12/12, then 12/12 from seed, 11.5/12.5, 11/13 10.5/13.5, 10/14...each time gave slightly different terp profiles..similar but quite different too.

amazing plant; 420!

Things are still going well, I took down Purple XJ x Cali Dreamin #2, through #3 into flower and planted a few Fluffhead x Milk n Cookie beans. Lemon Venom plants also thrown into flower, excited to see how they come out. Been meaning to grab some pictures but I have been busy and keep forgetting.
