It's a shame I didn't find your journal earlier. It's been a fun and interesting read. I really love the excerpt from the Anastasia book about seed germination. It's really beautiful and maybe I will give it a try next time. I'm going to look for that book.

I'll be following along. I was recently tempted to buy some autoflower seeds, but decided to wait. It will be nice to see yours turn out.

Hey Hey People,

Thanks for the nice things Mr Dresney - The Anastasia Ringing Cedars books are amazing - it is a really alternative but really fresh and true look at world and nature and how we should or could live. It is all about getting back to who we really are. They are by a guy called Vladimir Megre, who claims that it is all true. They are written badly in places - but the guy's story is that he isn't a writer, he just needed to impart the knowledge he gained from Anastasia, an incredible woman he met in the woods.

The seed thing seemed to fit really well for growing marijuana

Time for a quick photo update now - we are getting some lovely growing done.

Had to do a little bit of weeding today, somehow some cress had made its home in my pots. If you look at the back, you can see some lovely coriander growing, the happiest coriander in the Baltic states - under a 250hps (Y)

I think ladies make better gardeners, we are the seed keepers and growers of this world We bear the fruit and grow it inside us, it makes us natural nurture creatures I say. Although there are many men hear who probably do not agree!

Thanks for the reps, but I deserve nothing, all credit goes to Līja and Zānē. Lovely little ladies. Best hobby ever - I can't stop daydreaming about spending every penny we have on a load more lights and turning our whole house into a jungle of buds. Itš not even just the excitment of smoking our own homegrown, it is the whole process I am loving. Can't wait for summer, when it is real grow season as well as hobby plant grow season.

I think I've got it quite nicely worked out thankyou Mr Dank. The temperatures are not perfect, they go up and down very much, but the important thing is they are staying in the safe range. I have lights out between 5 and 11, which is the time of the house we heat the house most - so the hardest time to keep them cool. The temperatures in the room drops to around 50 during the night, so it is very easy to keep the closet temperature in the mid seventies during that time If anything the exhausted air helps warm our room nicely !

And I am sure that air is healthy. I guess we are having nice symbiosis - we like oxygen, the girls like CO2, we get rid of CO2, they get rid of oxygen - teamwork!

Yep I looooove this hobby, though it's become way more than a hobby for me. Wait til they start to smell, and the buds are swelling every day, a flowering plant is a beautiful thing, and there's nothing like seeing the process first hand. Glad to hear the temps are ok, and good job so far, I love these low budget micro grows, being a micro grower myself.

Thanks, it is really wonderful - it is funny you say about smell, because we woke up yesterday morning and Līja has started to smell very strongly. She is the smaller plant - but she has very strong smell - just like you have opened a bag of weed! Zānē is bigger, but she has no smell. The smell is this indication of preflower?

As for low budget, it has been a bit higher than we could really afford, but we are still not too bad -

I'm not sure about dollars, but I can easy convert to Euros.

Seeds - these ones free gifts with Skunk #1 and Northern Lights purchase - they also sent me two Humboldt Seeds Amherst Sour Diesel free - has anyone tried this seed?

The circulation fan, cupboard, ropes, pots, water sprayers, all were our own. So our set up sneaks in at under the 100 Euro mark - which I think is very good for a very capable set up that will give us so much back! (Price of very very low quality weed if we go to the city is the equivalent of 25E for a gram. So if we get 4 gram from these two plants together we have made our money already!

Wow! 25E a gram is so expensive! And for low quality?! That's about 950 USD an ounce, which is crazy expensive even for the good stuff. I couldn't afford to smoke where you live unless I grew my own, for sure.

I love the smell of growing ladies. Mine have been smelling for a few weeks now and are just showing female bits this week, so I don't think it's a sign of pre-flower, but I'm growing photos and don't know much about autos.

Hello People, Good Evening.

I just did a quick google money conversion, and it is actually around 22 Euro - but that is still far too expensive - hence no smoke until we get babies grown The sentence - 'just started showing their female bits' made me laugh, but that might be because I have the sense of humour of a twelve year old boy.

Here are todays pictures for my ladies. I couldn't find my lighter today for scale, so the mobile phone is standing in pretending to be a lighter. Do lighters have legs? They always seem to be running away from me.

They are growing nicely, filling in around the stalks defintely, and spreading wider - two days ago they were almost as long as a lighter, now they are longer than a phone pretending to be a lighter. That's got to be good news.

That is Day 13 from putting in soil - just under 11 from popping, so it seems good!

I'm not expert enough to know - but she does seem to be growing in a very different way to Līja and others that I have seen, I can get a closer pic if you think she may be a mutant freak? I don't want to trip anyone out!

Well, as long as the other plants don't bully her for it I'm a happy mother - I love her two heads or one.

Sorry, they are the best I can do with our bad lights and cheapo camera - it is not very good at llow light or close up pictures!

You have the new node correct ? ... Does that have anything beside it like another one that looks the same ?

Looking at those pictures I think she might be a natural "double stem"
