Alright theres the deal teSmp, after changing my mind over and over, doing tons of research, and talking to alot of the veterans on this site i am thinking about doing a 2L HEMPY SOG in my new 5x5 Tent. For lights we will have the 1000w JD Lighting Ballast running at 50% and a 400w Revolt (from gotham products) running at 100%.
Going to keep a mother from the 9 plants that are going right now in my veg tent (We might keep 2 so we can cut more clones at one time) the mother will stay in a separate tent with a 44 site cloner. Cant wait for that

About my pest problem in the veg tent, I went to the hydro store today and dropped all the money on the azamax soil drench, 30$ for 4 oz of the stuff, burnin holes in my pocket. Got the Diotamcious Earth stuff that some one suggested, and got yellow fly stick tape.
I went into that tent with an arsenal, First thing was first i mixed up 15ml of Azamax with 1 Gallon of water. Stuff looks murky white when its added to water. I then dispersed the whole gallon of soil drench to all 9 plants (They are in 3 gal root pots) most of it soaked in on the first pouring, but when i did the second pour it was pretty much just draining right out the bottom.
I hope this doesn't drown my plants but we intend on not watering them for 2 days to let the soil dry out. After we let the azamax soak in, i broke out the DE and sprinkled a generous amount around the whole surface area of each pot. I then "Kneaded" it into the soil, working in the soil.
The fly tape will get hung tomorrow, probably lay it across the pot, with the sticky side facing down.
Side note - i remember about a week before i started noticing these fuckers there was a bit of mold or fungus or something on the OUTSIDE of one of my root pots, Now that im thinking of it, i bet that was a nest or eggs from the fucking things.
The bugs are tiny, they have small see thru wings, they hover right abouve the soil and plant wen disturbed, they were all chillin in the soil when i first got there.
Im going to hit it with the soil drench again next week, and i might add more DE at some point.
Cant wait to start my 2L Hempy so i dont have to fuck with soil ne more.
Oh ya also the guy at the hydro store almost ran and ducked for cover when i asked him if he carries "Vermiculite" He was like "oH no i would never carry that. that stuff gives you cancer, make sure you wet it down with water before you handle it if you do use it."
Does any one else know if this sounds legit? he said it was the same idea as asbestos but i highly doubt people would be growing their plants in it if that was true.
Now for the Scroggy Scrogs
They are stretching like a mother fucker. Some of the side branches are over 2 inches above the screen, im running out of room on the screen though, i tried to make my baby's branch twist in a way that she didn't want to go and broke her stem a tiny bit.
Its still on it just kinda 'Split' off a little bit, i did it with a differ branch before and its still staying strong. Im done trying to contort my plants this is the way they are going to stay, i know this isnt the proper way to do a scrog but hell im learning.
I can see roots coming out of the drainage holes on one of the plants, i hope it doesn't get root bound, Do the roots not grow as fast or at all when the plant is putting on weight?
Stems are getting nice and fat, i like my stalks stocky
I trimmed a little more small branches and fan leaves, getting bushy as fuck. Does any one else here think i should do a 'Defoliation' at day 21? im not sure what the benefit is to it but i see alot of people on this site doing it.
