re: BPN Closet Scrog Grow
Picture Update!
Scrog Closet
Temp - 78 - 85 *F
Humidity - 15 - 30%
Ballast(s) Temp - 90*F
Watering/Nutes - 1/4 gal of
BPN 3 Part Elite Transition Formula to each plant
Light Schedule - 12/12
Everything looks awesome in here, The plants are really liking the 2 hps bulbs they grew alot since Saturday morning. I kind of broke a stem when i was reworking a top, it didnt break off it just kinda split off the main stem so i put a small piece of tape to it so it will repair itself. I reworked alot of the tops, screen is already gettin pretty full, worse comes to worse ill try to raise the screen just a few inches to give me more room to work with, the screen is just wedged in the closet so if we kind of bang on it gently we should be able to raise it up. The way the scrog is shaped ended up working really good, the outer part of the screen is higher the the middle so it works really good for the dividing the light evenly. The plants look really healthy cant wait to see some buds, today marks 3 days since we changed the lights to 12/12.
(Sorry about pics i was using a crappy cam)
Veg Tent
Temp - 73 - 75*F
Humidity - 20 - 50%
Watering/Nutes - 8 - 12oz of
BPN 3 Part Seedling Formula to each plant
Light Schedule - 18/16
Plants are looking good, Still noticing small white mites or something so we sprayed down the plants again with the pesticide, if the problem persist then im going to try and take more drastic measures (Does any one have any ideas?)
They are taking nicely to the bpn elite seedling formula, they also got a small bit of benny brew tea yesterday.
I started an LST on one of the plants, Using some thin yet sturdy wire i just poked it through the smart part and twisted it so it would stay in place then hooked it around the base of the stem, then i bent the plant over carefully and made a 'U' shape out of a small piece of wire, kind of looks like a staple, stuck it in the soil with the plant underneath it so it will hold it down.
I will continue to bring it till it grows to the edge of the pot, then i will start working it around the outer part of the pot, letting it grow up wards and in as it gets older. This is my first time trying LST so well see how it goes.
Germinating Seeds
Both A-Train and Lucy Seeds have both sprouted the tiniest little taproot so we figured we will leave it in the container till morning and then put it into a pre-soaked peat moss jiffy pod. I like the jiffy pods that are peat moss for this over the rapid rooters because peat moss is made for retaining water, so you only have to get the puck wet the initial time and it pretty much keeps the stuff moist enough for the seed to start growing. We will keep a close eye on it and mist it lightly if it drys up. Once it looks like it is starting to grow we will throw it in a pot with soil.
So we are feeding The tea Brew to all the plants right now, the scrog plants got about 1 cup each and the veg plants only got a taste. we will continue to feed them about twice a week with the brew because i do not want it to become stagnate and not work since it is not brewing anymore with an air stone, the package said to stop brewing after 24 hrs. Next time i make a batch i just wont use a whole packet
Still waiting on my
1000w JD Lighting Ballast should be here some time this week cant wait to take some pics and try it out!
Thanks for stopping by guys later!
