Looking Good Bassman. I recommend that you acquire a few feminized seeds from a reputable vendor and grow them out. Take a couple of cuttings from each one and keep what you like the best and shit can the rest. Unless you get clones from a motherplant that you know is a badass strain, you are taking a chance with genetics from all other seed sources and have to typically wade through a few to get some winners.

Thank you too SB. I'm only on my 3rd grow myself. But have tried to learn my ass off here and around the net. I'm still a newcomer in my eyes. I've got the basics down ok, but still learning almost daily.

They obviously didn't ask the users for any input or testing. It's in there I am sure. It appears they upgraded the templates with simple mods as I still see remnants of the default vBulletin system. (check the icon in your address bar) It is NOT custom software, only adapted and modified. I would be curious to see what process they used to plan and evaluate this so called redesign. Lots of java script going on as well, so it is also doubtful they will be compatible with iPad and the like. I dont have one so I cant testify to that.

The look is ok, but I have an issue with the color choices above all, and other little things like no posting of gallery pics.

I've grown MK and it never got to be a really big plant. Had problems because I grew it with Super Lemon Haze which ended up being 5 ft tall and the MK only ever got to maybe 2-3 ft and they had to share 1 light. If I remember correctly it finished way before the SLH and produced some really nice smoke.

I would really like to go LED also but have plant limits where I live and need to grow bigger plants so don't think it's in the cards right now. Maybe in a few years when the technology gets a little better??? Luckily I don't live in the desert so heat isnt the issue for me that it is for you.

Update:

Lights out!

Girls are being flipped to flower now. Lights out for 36-48 hrs.

Three of them are not quite as wide as I wanted and as you can see from pics, the right front one is substantially larger in bushiness. The closeup is a shot to show (poorly) female pre flowers. And the lower shot shows how much structure there really is down below that's getting pushed outwards and reaching up. Defoliation has certainly not hurt growth and structure. In fact, it helps to make a more squat fat bottomed girl. Being indica helps too.

PH was 5.7 on last check. PPM right at 1000 or 2.0 ec.

Will res change when they come out of lights out to BPN transition phase. Then the next week I'll add BPN Liquid Blue Bloom Booster when it arrives. Just ordered a re-stock of BPN nutes today.

I just turned the lights on after 36+ odd hours of dark. Changed out to flower nutes. errr,, maybe I should say, flower nuke! PPM came in at 1500 (3.0ec)! So I'm now taking a few gallons out and adding str8 ro water.

I think I added too much Ginormous and calmag. Not sure really. I only added the ginormous because I have it. Was not planning on continuing with this nutrient but I'm waiting on my BPN bloom booster so I figured what the hell. Calmag I may have missed on the math. I think I looked at an old sheet I had from a different brand.

I'm sure they'll be fine. I'll dilute it down.

I went with stacked Kush KK looks like a winner too. Also got some Liberty Haze, and the Hazeman breakout to get the Hazeman 88 G-13 Hashplant

Update:

Day 1 12/12

So, dark period is over. Girls are on 12/12 now. Changes res to BPN transition nutes with hygrozyme, B52, Calmag, and Ginourmous bloom booster until my new order of Blue Planet 2 part and Bloom Booster arrives next week for res change.

Sadly, I either read the wrong notes I had or just over nuted. PPM came out at 1500 or 3.0ec

So I pulled out 4 gals and added back straight ro water. But it's only dropped the ppm to 1350 or so. Roughly 2.7 e.c. Still too high. I'm going to let it go till tomorrow and adjust again.

The fan leaves are showing early signs of Calcium deficiency. Seems weird since I add cal mag. PH is in the right zone, presently at 5.7 so it isn't lockout and hasn't been lockout. It's botanicare calmag which I haven't used before and am not real thrilled with the back of bottle notes. Very incomplete suggestions on amounts. I think I've gone too light, and then today maybe even added too much which rocked the ppm so high. I'm not going to fret. I know I've got it in there.

I have a huge urge to defoliate! Fan leaves have come back with a vengeance since defoliation about 8-9 days ago! I'll have to hold the urge and let them transition and start stretching.

The big girl is measuring 13" tall x 15" wide! That's what I want, but the others are just not going to be as wide. They are going to get wide, just not as wide as hoped. On the other hand however, as you can see, the big girl is going to crowd the one on the left front. I need another 3-4" of center spacing. But hey, all part of the process, and I'm getting there!

The other girls are all about 12" tall and 12" wide. Not bad.

Since this is my first grow with this strain, we really have no idea what stretch is going to be like. I think I have room, and this will be my guide for the next time on this strain. That being said I did not take clones. So it'll have to be from seed at a later date/grow.
