Hi Papa I too would love to see our boys come together and give it their all. The US is a strange team, some flashes, but they really don't seem to see each other very well. They need to practice actually getting their shots on goal, not way over it! I wish them the best, of course. Reality keeps tapping me on the shoulder and saying "Who you kidding?".

I really don't like that teams don't have to win games to move forward. The Brazilian team was so boring last night. I wanted to scream go for the win, instead they just farted around. All the while, I was setting here thinking, what a waste of talent.

That is one thing I like about American sports...we play to win!

The big dogs are falling like flies. Italy was a mess, France was ugly. England looks like us.:smokin2:

One country that was eliminated was happy anyway. The Greeks won their first ever World Cup Game. When I lived there the whole country just stopped when a game was on! Couldn't even get a cup of coffee.:):peace:

Yubb. The Volde is worth the effort. I am fairly certain she's the stoniest I've ever grown and damn likely some of the most potent I've ever smoked. According to her stats, she should be. It is a very very very potent high. I would have trouble driving right now for sure. I can't wait for the Utopia Haze.

I don't mind the ties in the first round. Remember that these guys often don't play together except every 4 years. So the first round is always about not making mistakes. Its a round robin to sort out the best 16 teams, and it works pretty well for that. Shoot outs are kinda exciting - but too much of a good thing is bad - they are very random in many ways. I like goals for/against in the opening round(s) then overtimes and shoot outs from now on.

And I couldn't agree more about England. They haven't put it together yet either.

Where exactly did you come by the Volde ? Every time I think got the seeds I want to try, someone comes up with something else! Never ending story! :grinjoint:

Actually your right about the teams. All the players were on the teams that own them. Then boom, they are expected to play well with strangers.:grinjoint:

The Volde is from Barney's Farm. They don't have lots of distributors. And their stock is always tight because all their seeds come from a very select group of plants. I bought mine from a great shop, but they're not a sponsor. If you want I'll be happy to PM you the info - they give great service. He rushed an order for me two days before Christmas and it got here before new years. I've talked on the phone and by email multiple times - never a problem - always me asking questions and them helping.

I knew I wanted the Utopia Haze. That one was a real quest to lay hands on. As soon as I found it in stock I just went down the stats of the other seeds at Barney's and I wanted an Indica since the UH is Sativa. I chose the L because it has the highest stats from Barney's. Great yield, high THC and Extra high CBD - 65 day flower period. I wanted high THC and then I saw the highest CBD as well. That was it. I see a lot of Kush around, and Barney's is known for their Kush, but I wanted their hard to get stuff.

Neither is particularly easy to grow, frankly. Neither is super hard, but they both have their peculiarities. The L is ultra sensitive to pH swings and likes low nutes at the beginning and high nutes at the end of flower. The UH has such a long flowering period that it can be pretty tight on nute levels. Its easy to get ahead of it. The UH is a more forgiving plant, but it takes FOREVER!

Thanks! I actually have a pretty cool story about Migraines and Marinol. My neighbor is an older guy, Coast Guard as a kid, played semi-pro basketball, was a cop for a few years. He's had migraines all his life. He smoked pot once in the 60s but that's it. About a month ago I gave him a joint and suggested he try a few hits if he got a headache at night - after work. A week ago he said he tried it. Did like I said and took 3 hits and put it out.

It worked. Instead of 4 hours the headache was gone immediately. And instead of having to take aspirin in the morning to get over the headache that the headache medicine gives, he was fine until noon the next day. One aspirin at noon and problem solved.

One of my better success stories of a patient.

P.S. - The US has just gone down in a ball of mediocrity. Wow - that game was a non-event. Was not nearly the scoring I hoped for. I shoulda known one team would milk a lead. Oh well. I think the best match of the Cup will be tomorrow morning - England-Germany. I think Germany will win easily, but England is good enough to make it a good game I hope.

I too chuckled a little reading this. If I could hit 64lbs - forget plant of the month - there would be a national pot day named after me!

No biggee though. My goal is 1g/w every 6-8 weeks. To be realistic I think I gotta push that back a week to 7-9 weeks. I grow strains that take longer - that's all there is to it.

Now, as to whether I'll achieve that - its to be seen. I've never gotten it yet, but this a better setup.

In the current scrog it was 8 plants, 600w. I've chopped 5 out of 8 and only gotten 6.2oz dried and trimmed. But they were the smallest plants by far, there's still about 2/3 - 3/4 of the scrog to cut. If I end up at 20-24oz - I would be thrilled. I think 16-18oz is more likely.

Getting close to finding out.

I'll be happy with a lb as well. I was doing some arranging last nite, and I really think the odds are good. Its lots of bud. Have you thought about doing some plants in ground? With nice big 3x3 holes? Or with really big planters above ground. With your attention to detail I bet you could get a pound a plant pretty easily.

Here's the ones on the floor. Its such a different dynamic there. Grow them as fast as I can and get a new one in its place. In the scrog I gotta make sure to max out every plant, given that the screen will still take the same amount of space under the light. Like right now there are only 3 plants under the 600. That never happens on the floor plants. Anyways - here's a nice bud from the Jack Herer. These and the UH in the scrog start final flush tonight.
