And the trichs said perfect, so she's hanging and in for a reveg.I don’t know much, but I have had buds like this before with the trichome/new growth conundrum. In my limited experience, sometimes those odd, sort of foxtail-looking (but not) growths will just keep growing. And growing. And popping just enough white to tell you not to harvest. Meanwhile your normal trich assessment, which has always worked fine, is all out of whack. I go by trichomes. Under LED I find they rarely lie. Just me.
Hopefully the 4 plants will come in at about 1.5 lbs. Those are very nice wet weights Gee! I wouldn't have guessed 8 colas could have done that!
How are you wiring up those buds? Are those wires connected to the poles? I need to do mine.OK @MicroGrowerMan @Roy Growin , I found the manual setting. Things just got a lot easier. There are settings all over that I can adjust now. So I went with ISO 100, Shutter 100, and F8.0. Just to see what the F's were all about, I took the same pic over and over on all 6 available F settings.
F4.5, F5.0, F5.6, F6.3, F7.1, F8.
White balance is 3200k. Tungsten.
I see how the F's work now. I like 8.0 the best.

Maybe it should be re-named durable poison. I fell face first into my tent with durban. Broke two - that's TWO colas. Taped 'em up and as you said, they never flinched. To kill 'em you gotta chop 'em. I notice they're still churning out white pistils too. Mine did the same, but produced the best yield I've gotten from Durban. I have one seed left. She is now destined to be a mother.Durban Poison - Day 68 of Flower.
The Mace Head Pheno.
You can't tell in the pic's really, but this pheno is finishing with a pink hue.
And then there is this. The duct tape bandage from when I split the plant in veg. The plant never flinched. We will have to inspect it deeper after harvest. It's getting a reveg 1st though. The pink pheno's are usually really good too, so they both get revegged to cut clones.
Hey G, yup. Two more weeks til flip. Good to see you're off to a good start and good job on the Durbans.@Gidorah , this might work pretty good. By the time you are harvesting, these ones should be just finishing stretch, so we can get 2 full flower shows back to back.
2 more weeks til you flip your Gals?
Between the left front and left rear poles I run a wire front to back just below the light level. Then I do the same on the right side. Then I string wires from one wire to the other in about 6 places. Then from those 6 wires suspended just under the light, running from side to side, I hang the wires down to the colas. I actually hook the colas and then pull the wire up to the spot on one of the 6 cross wires, that best flexes it into place and supports it.How are you wiring up those buds? Gimme time, I'll get there...Hey G, yup. Two more weeks til flip. Good to see you're off to a good start and good job on the Durbans.
Durable Poison I like that. This isn't the 1st one I've split, although never 2 at once, but duct tape fixed every one.Maybe it should be re-named durable poison. I'm reading the journal backwards for now, but I doubt I'll get caught up.
I did want to say that you presented the best argument I've heard about the first day of flower & it settled it for me. I can sleep now...
Thats them
You explained it perfectly. That's how I thought you did it but wasn't sure. Thanks.Between the left front and left rear poles I run a wire front to back just below the light level. I use rubber coated wire to make the hooks that go onto the colas, and then attach the hooks to the green twist-tie wire.
I will take a good picture of what I mean when I clean the tent tomorrow.
They support the colas really well and if you accidentally hook one with an elbow it pops off instead of damaging the col
We'll call it clumsycropping & be credited for a new method to increase yeild! I swear dp seems to thrive in adversity. (Credit to @Emilya Green for the verbiage).Durable Poison I like that. This isn't the 1st one I've split, although never 2 at once, but duct tape fixed every one.
I had one whole half plant split and totally wilt, I mean t.o.t.a.l.l.y. wilt, like wet spaghetti, but 48 hours later it was duct taped and praying. It's a tough strain.
The taped one is getting revegged, so I can't tear the tape off yet to look.
