lookin pretty god man i been growin 2 in a 5 gal bucket 3.5 gal in it they are at 5 and 6 and a half weeks on tuesday they will be 6 and 7 vegged under one 250 wt cfl and two little 43 watters and for flowerin im goin to add another 250 watt warm cfl
Got a question how much would 2 150 hps yield between 3-4 plants ? i know theres alot of factors to answer this but lets say i got everything going good what would i expect? (seeds most likely to be 2 white widow and 1 northern lights )
i've got 3 125 cfl's 2 red spec 1 blue need the red for the ak's i'm going to get dual spec next time and another bucket i think i'm going to flower under hps though peace
No one can really answer this accurately for you. But I'll try! It's the question any grower has as they get started. How long do you plan to veg for? How tall and bushy? How much headroom do you have? Grow room size? What medium? (I can assume Deep Water Culture but so many other methods of growing are in here... not sure)
How big you allow the plants to get has a lot to do with yield. Outdoors, I can grow trees, so yields of a pound per plant are possible. Indoors, I keep them a bit smaller. If I were growing with your setup, I would probably average 2-3 ounces per plant.
If you can source extra side lights (cfls) and have plenty of head room, you can expect more.
Proper trimming, and proper trellis design can open up a canopy and net a bigger yield.
Are you growing in the SH reservoir? Or 5 gallon buckets? Or...?
A lot of yield also has to do with strain. This will be a factor. Also, as I'm sure you know.... tons and tons of other factors can effect yield.

Look great to me. Saw a little nute burn but that strain is a little picky when it's young and I have never not burned the first set. They plup up real nice when the root get well into the water.
Just add all the lights you can.
A couple of quick observations:
Get rid of the tin foil, it only reflects about 55% of the light while flat white paint is in the 85% range, you'll do much better with the paint.
The air pump should be above the res. This will prevent siphoning of the res in case of power failure.
The light is pretty minimal for that space. I'd recommend adding cfls to increase your lumen output, I believe you're a ways under what you need.
thanks man gonna git rid of that tin foil .. also i think it would be even cooler in there is its white flat walls.. and i do have cfl lighting (4 actually watts 26w) 105w 2 5000k and 2 2700k .. but i was wondering would it be better to get another 150 hps since i can get it at a good price only 50 bucks thanks so excited i feel like im on my way of grower real soon
HAHAHA i think i would be too you have a time of day you prefer your ww and cheese
Looks good man. I got some Autoflower seeds for the outdoor season. Pretty stoked to see what they can do.
Just so you know... you do not need 24/0 light schedule. 18/6 or 20/4 works great and saves some electricity. Just an option.
Flower under HPS if you can. CFL's work great. I can even produce some super dense nugs. But the yield is nothing compared to HPS.
But lookin good! Think we could get more pics of those Autoflower plants? Or do you have a journal? Love to hear a smoke report after they dry and cure!
