@Lewydeville and @Dutchman1990 i use canna pills to help with diverticulitis. a condition in the same family as crohns or colitis. a friend has been making them for me the past few years. his daughter has crohns. we both use a combo of high thc pills, and high cbd. it seems to work really well along with a fibre supplement at control.

i have avoided surgery, which was suggested as the only treatment available. my friends daughter is considered in full remission by her doctor, who has no explanation for the turnaround.. (but we know hee hee).

for us it kind of takes both. we do a lot more of the cbd than the thc pills. probably about 2:1. we had to track down strains that worked for each. we tried other dosing methods but the pills were by far the most effective. the cbd pills actually help regulate the thc pills, it clips the euphoria, and may be the missing piece of the puzzle you are chasing.

unfortunately my friend has moved, so this year i am learning to make my own meds.

Awesome story Bluter and I’m glad it’s worked for you. I have been trying to help my fiancé with hers for the past year looking into different strains and dosing methods. I have found the capsules easiest and most effective but buying straight CBD is a pain when I could grow it just as well! I just don’t want to risk growing a strain that isn’t beneficial for her.

That’s interesting! I’ve only tried over the counter CBD for my fiancé. She’s the same way and hates the feeling of being high so I can’t grow her anything with THC. I make capsules all the time for myself and for her when I get a bottle of CBD but I would love tot ty and find a Strain that works for her!

Welcome bluter with the strains I'm runnin now I can definately try a combo of high and low THC CBD I'm happy your friends daughter was able to find a cure and your diverticulitis is it cured now or are you controlling it?

i'm more under control than anything. i get "attacks" every now and again, usually due to something stupid i did without realizing. the attacks have dropped in number and intensity to a much more manageable level.

my friends daughter keeps with the program as a maintenance thing now. she literally destroyed that problem. both of us had pre-cancer polyps numbering in the thousands, she is completely clear. i still have a random one or two when i last got checked.

Brilliant and thank you so much for this info Bluter. The thought that this could help my son come off the Azathioprine and avoid surgery in the future is very encouraging for him and I’m sure others reading in the same position. Great start to your journal Sog this is going to be a good one.

Holy shit! That's a lot of polyps. My wife is much like you in that it is more of a maintenance dose she takes. She quit for a while but her crohns came back now she takes one cap before bed and she has it under control plus it has helped her to sleep better as well.

that's what it is about. god given plant. use wisely and be responsible is my mantra. everyone finds the levels that work for them. it's an individual thing.

it's gross, but i used to shit mostly blood. the handle here is an inside joke between me and my friends. i'm never going back. ever. i will defend that position to my death. period.

It's been 3 days since toppin the plants and they are lookin good I'll be sexing them then transplanting into their final #5 Air pots and a 4 gal HD pot with holes drilled in it

Thank you Birdie this is a first for me I usually top the plants without stripping the lower shoots off. From what I've seen from other growers I have decided to try a new approach to my garden. in the past I've had plants outgrow the head space. My new room has a foot less head room and I am hoping this new style will keep the plants shorter.
I must say the plants have recovered faster than I thought they would. growing in coco sure speeds things up.

Hi Hidden Grow and welcome, The plants have recovered from the pruning quite nicely The Sunshine daydream and Dragons Blood x Old Mother Ghani crosses came from friends in the UK I'm really stoked to try them out. I tried to sex the plants yesterday but they haven't showed yet. just 4 weeks old I'll give 'em a couple more days and check again I would like to get them into their final pots so I can use the watering system I built should make life a lot easier

You must be readin my mind Birdie as I was just thinkin 'bout that very thing. I have 6 pots under my 12 cob light that has a 4 foot by 5 foot foot print that's 20 square feet that 3 and a 1/3 sq. ft. per plant my last grow things got rather crowded

Thanks Lewydeville This grow has been much better in regards to environment. The temps are staying between 68F and 79F and humidity has been between 38% and 50%. Lighting is the same 600 watts of Vero cobs + 620 watts of SS400's I have changed nutrients from Canna liquid A&B to Kelp 4 Less granular A&B for veg. The kelp 4 Less is cheaper than the Canna and so far I haven't noticed any differences in plant growth.
