This looks like it could get interesting. Great set up Sog very impressive. My son has crohns and he’s on some very harsh drugs to keep it under control which I don’t like. Mind if I tag along and get some info?
There are a few members here treating themselves/spouses with cannabis for the same problem. So, you are not alone

Hi all I transplanted the plants into larger pots as they have a week o two before I can sex them. I didn't want them to become root bound waiting to determine which ones are girls.

I seen you over at Asesino journal looking into the quads! I’ll be sure to tag along here and see how you make out! I run quads as well and this was my first attempt at it ( I won’t be looking back).
My fiancé has crohns as well. I’ve been trying her on CBD for a while but she doesn’t get much effect from it. I may be dosing her a little low.
What have you and your wife found works best? Smoking? Edible? And do you focus on high CBD or a good even mix of 1:1??

I have gone nuts I have 15 plants that germinated out of 17 seeds and only 6 pots for growing them out two of the plants will be Nevada Privada for my wife it is a high CBD strain for crohn's for me Girl Scout Cookies I will choose the best seedlings from the remaining strains Sun Shine Day Dream from Bodhi, Dragons Blood x Hash plant, from seed I made Granddaddy Purple x OG Kush, or Granddaddy x Thai Stick

Hi and welcome to my groom I'm happy you like the grow room I am loving it I wish it were bigger lol
sorry to hear your fiancé has crohns We have had the best results from Barney's Farm Liberty Haze. Proble with that is the high my wife doesn't like being high so I am growing some Nevada Privada from Privada seeds it's a low THC and High CBD strain for my wife this grow for the first time. The reviews have all said it is a good strain for Crohns we shall see. Really we have only focused on what research was available and tried strains that were said to be good for crohns it has been until recently that we have looked for low THC high CBD strain. We first tried strains I was using for PTSD I got from the Viet Nam war sorry I digress those strains were always had high THC content So it may be that high THC strains are best the jury is still out until I finish growing the Nevada Privada. If you find a stain that works let us know.
As far as dosing we make capsules. The buds are heated in the microwave then ground into a fine powder and loaded into a capsule making machine I can 24 at a time. next time I make pills I'll post some pictures and a more complete description of the process

Hi Hidden and welcome to my groom. The crosses are from friends across the pond and two of my own. I'm really not sure how long it will take to flower I haven't found a female plant from the last 10 seeds I sowed I am really hoping for all of the seedlings to be female and for them to finish in 9 weeks I use a microscope to check trichomes looking for 50% cloudy and 30% amber before harvestNice setup SOG

@Lewydeville and @Dutchman1990 i use canna pills to help with diverticulitis. a condition in the same family as crohns or colitis. a friend has been making them for me the past few years. his daughter has crohns. we both use a combo of high thc pills, and high cbd. it seems to work really well along with a fibre supplement at control.
i have avoided surgery, which was suggested as the only treatment available. my friends daughter is considered in full remission by her doctor, who has no explanation for the turnaround.. (but we know hee hee).
for us it kind of takes both. we do a lot more of the cbd than the thc pills. probably about 2:1. we had to track down strains that worked for each. we tried other dosing methods but the pills were by far the most effective. the cbd pills actually help regulate the thc pills, it clips the euphoria, and may be the missing piece of the puzzle you are chasing.
unfortunately my friend has moved, so this year i am learning to make my own meds.

That’s interesting! I’ve only tried over the counter CBD for my fiancé. She’s the same way and hates the feeling of being high so I can’t grow her anything with THC. I make capsules all the time for myself and for her when I get a bottle of CBD but I would love tot ty and find a Strain that works for her!
